Don't forget the days of the week! Saturday is named for Saturn, Thursday after Thor... You also celebrate our holidays and follow our traditions under the guise of naming it something different and setting it as a yearly date instead of a yearly event. Christmas = Yule; Easter = Ostara; All Hallow's Eve + All Saint's Day + All Soul's Day = Samhain. You've taken our symbols (the fish and cross were both originally Pagan), our concept of godhead (the Trinity was first a triple goddess)... Just face it already. You're just another Pagan only with less love, more dogma, and a different name. We were here first, honey, and we're not going anywhere. ;-) Blessed be! )O(

The days of the week are named after pagan gods, too. The Puritans didn't like to use the names of the months or weeks. I think that they were too religious.
The Bible says that idols and false gods are nothing. I am not worshiping false gods by telling people what month and day it is. I am only saying what month and day it is. If you think it is unclean, then to you is it unclean. Meanwhile, I am free in Christ.
I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that [there is] nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him [it is] unclean.
As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol [is] nothing in the world, and that [there is] none other God but one.

I much prefer my birthday the way it is. But as an aside, my birthday is the same as the day thought to be the birthday of Julius Caesar. Does that mean I should go divide Gaul into 3 parts?

The vast majority of christian practises and themes are plagiarised from other religions anyway! Even the idea of christ is an amalgamation of older gods - Ossiris, Mithras etc.

The pagan names don't bother me. I'm not like those crybabies who refuse to use "B.C." and "A.D." because "they're offensive to non-Christians."
