I was reading an article and it said that God is in control of everything that happens to you (good or bad).

(Hypothetical Question) How does God control a situation where a big, strong guy is right next to me (who hates me) an if he wanted, could just hit me across the face and beat my ***?

"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity." -- Anne Coulter, Christian Peace Activist

Conquer,Convert or kill them.

"The three-in-one/one-in-three mystery of Father, Son and Holy Ghost made tritheism official. The subsequent almost-deification of the Virgin Mary made it quatrotheism . . . Finally, cart-loads of saints raised to quarter-deification turned Christianity into plain old-fashioned polytheism. By the time of the Crusades, it was the most polytheistic religion to ever have existed, with the possible exception of Hinduism.

This untenable contradiction between the assertion of monotheism and the reality of polytheism was dealt with by accusing other religions of the Christian fault.

The Church - Catholic and later Protestant - turned aggressively on the two most clearly monotheistic religions in view - Judaism and Islam - and persecuted them as heathen or pagan.

The external history of Christianity consists largely of accusations that other religions rely on the worship of more than one god and therefore not the true God. These pagans must therefore be converted, conquered and/or killed for their own good in order that they benefit from the singularity of the Holy Trinity, plus appendages." -- The Doubter's Companion (John Ralston Saul)

A planet just 20 light years away has been discovered which potentially could support life. http://www.smh.com.au/news/science/earth-ii-hunt-planet-found/2007/04/25/1177459752092.html
It leads me to speculate that one day in the distant future, we may encounter another inhabitated world.
While I'm sure that by then, christianity will be a curiosity of history, part of me is curious. If an inhabitated world were found today, would christians wish to save them by bringing the holy spirit into their hearts? Or would your faith be shattered by the discovery that the universe isn't here just for us?

I have a lot of questions for those here in the R&S section for there are so many different beliefs in the world today.

For me I feel that it is important to at least know and attempt to understand the different perspectives and beliefs of believers, non-believers or those of a different belief entirely, hence my quest.

I still have a lot of questions, and a lot to learn of all and am wondering what those of you on this forum FEEL as to my requests and questions?

Gloves off guys, for there is not going to be the (No Bashing Please) that you always get from me.

PS. Just so you know – any adverse answers will not prevent my quest. I just wanted your honest opinion.
PSS- I was made stubborn (LOL)!

Peace & Love
Sam

Quantum physics are closing in on some majority important findings. Actually, these findings aren't new by any stretch. They actually link back to the time of Buddha.

But if science says you are mostly made up of space. Then how do you truly define who you are? And if you are space, then how do you define that space?

Jesse Duplantis and Benny hinn both have millions of dollars worth of luxury cars and have hundreds of millions of dollars. Are they violating Scripture by letting others suffer when they could be helping them? Is this against Jesus and the Bible?

Luke 12:33-34
Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also

James 1:22
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

James 2:14-18
What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?

Our eyes can't see all the colors, we can't hear as good as a lot of other animals, our touch is not that sensitive as som other animals. Had it not been for microscopes, bacteria and virsus would still not exist to us.

Obviously God, the son and Ghost are all three seperate entities at one and the same time which is a Tri-theism.

In other words..... polytheism.

How many criminals in death row say these words when they are being put to death ?

The New Testament is a historical account of Jesus written by men long after the life of Jesus. Paul was the first man to hijack Christianity and introduce lies.

The Nician councel chose a handful of books and burned the rest.

Who would put their trust in a book compiled and written by so many different people which has been translated, changed and edited so many times that the very foundations of Christianity are in total contradiction.

So much confusion has produced fanatically blind followers of a dogma that is clearly polytheistic while they keep telling the world it is monotheism.

Be honest to the world and yourself and dont call tri-theism anything but polytheism.
