Let's say a comet kills you now, do you think you would be saved from damnation? Are you confident in yourself that you are safe? Because I sometimes feel I go on and off at times with God. I never know if something might happen. Bout you guys?

Few days ago they came to my door and I somehow got suckered in to acepting on of their magazines, they said read and that they'd be back in a few days... I thought, 'ok, I'll be polite and take the mag', but I simply don't want to join them.

I don't want to be rude as they seemed like kind old ladies, but I know they won't leave without trying to sucker me in again.

Anyone know what I can say to them to get them to leave me?

Putting the arguments for or against the existence of evolution and God

It strikes me as interesting that some people can say there is no tangible proof of evolution while at the same time not being disturbed by the fact that there is no tangible proof for God.

Is it possible that these people are not objective?

I have often wondered why Native people would be Mormons. Primarily because the Mormons do virtually nothing to help them. Why is it?

Rabbi Frand points out additionally that the Ishmaelite are armed with a potent weapon, a supreme weapon --the power of prayer. After all, Ishmael is born as a result of the power of prayer. The angels tell Hagar (Genesis 16:11) --- "Hee'nach harah v'ya'ladet ben," behold you are going to bear a child, "Kee sha'ma Hashem et ahn'yaich," for G-d has heard the cry of your travail. In the wilderness of Paran (Arabia), Ishmael himself is saved by the power of prayer and granted a miraculous spring of water. Genesis 21:17, "Kee sha'ma Elokim et kol ha'na'ar," G-d heard the cries of the infant (Ishmael), the angel tells Hagar.

Muslims pray with zeal--five times a day. They are willing to march for thousands of miles to visit Mecca and Medina in order to show their commitment to prayer.

The Torah predicts that the Ishmaelite(Muslims) will be a perah adam, a wild man, a free man.
They will constantly raise their hand against all other men who have authority. As if freedom is the only honor. They will forever be “men who kick like WILD DONKEYS against those who come to shackle them”. They will be the most difficult people on earth to conquer and oppress, but the perfect people to entrust with a divine message.

"The word of God" means the words are exactly as revealed (original language of the Messenger).

If I take a speech by the President of the United States, translate it into French and then publish it as the exact "President's Speech" I would be called a liar. The President never spoke in French and I could never say it was "his" speech. In fact it could only be called the closest translation of his speech but it can never be called "his words"; And even if I published his speech in English (as was the original) changed a few words and then put parenthesis around the entire speech and said this was his exact speech I would be imprisoned. If I changed even one single word it would no longer be the exact words of the President.

If Revelation is ever translated into a different language then it is no longer the "Word of God" , it would be the closest translation perhaps but NEVER the absolute WORD OF GOD.

If a single word in an entire book is changed the entire book is no longer the absolute "Word of God" .

This is the high standard now held by people who do not want to base their life and everlasting future on books that have been changed or altered from their original form in even the slightest way.

To find a book that does meet these high standards is nothing less than a Universal miracle and an blessing through the seed of Abraham for all of mankind.

The Holy Quran is in Arabic and all translations are considered to be “closest meanings”.
Millions of Muslims have memorized the entire Quran from cover to cover just as it was memorized by hundreds of early Muslims during the lifetime of Prophet Mohammed.

Do Christians believe JESUS is the GOD of the Old Testament?

The Trinity contends that all three parts of God are one without any separation between them otherwise it would be proven to be polytheism.

Therefore, according to Christianity the God of the Old Testament is Jesus.

If you say yes, then you cannot ever deny that he sent the commandments written in the Old Testament.

Someone can say they don’t follow them anymore…ok…. But if they ever deny that he made these commands then JESUS was not the GOD of the Old Testament.

Here is one command JESUS sent down:

"If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as a direct result, he must be punished, 21: but he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two, since the slave is his property.” ---- Exodus 21:20-21

If a Christian denies it was ever sent down by Jesus then either Jesus is not their God or they don’t believe that the Bible is the word of God.

Whether these are still enforced or whether these were sent millenniums ago…… are not the question.

The eye opener is that Christians cannot deny that according to their faith Jesus sent this command down.

Maybe enslaved men can handle a beating but fragile women would be in pain beyond imagination.

The point being made is not that Christians no longer follow the old law….the point is that JESUS said this about WOMEN !!!!

yes, this is true.nothing in this world has CONLUSIVE evidence to support it.that's why we're learning new things everyday. this "conclusive evidence" is the issue most creationists give to support their claim that evolution is false.

"science has made many mistakes before so why should this be right" does that sound familiar...

well creationists, what "conclusive evidence" do you have to support creationism?

and DON'T tell me about FAITH cos if you say you have faith in God i can also say i have faith in science + please DON'T give me web sites.i need real answers from YOU.
