No earthly wealth can ever replace spiritual graces. When you die...you cant take your money or your clothes or your fancy car with you. Grace is not even something that is given by organized religion. Even if you adhere to a religion....and receive the rituals and sacraments of that religion, please bear in mind that it is not the institution that is conferring grace into your soul...it is God Himself. The priest or the minister is only the "tool" that God uses....to administer the sacrament to you. It is God who makes it all happen. Grace is always a gift from God. The gift of FAITH...is a grace from God.
Grace you can take with you when you die...as it becomes a part of the life of your immortal soul. Your soul lives forever.
Your bank account doesnt.
Grace comes in many forms. Some of the most common gifts of grace are love, faith, hope and charity. There are other gifts of grace too. Patience, fortitude, forgiveness, discernment, courage, modesty, kindness, unselfishness to name a few more. Those who pray for and receive graces from God are far more wealthier than anyone with a million bucks or more in the bank! There are many who are financially wealthy and have plenty of money to spend on themselves in frivilous pursuits and activities...but who are poor in spirit and morally bankrupt.
Much more care should be taken to one's spiritual development than to making money. The moment you die your money will be taken away by the first person who grabs it the fastest. The bank will call in your mortgage, your creditors will still try to collect, and most of the people you thought were your friends...will not even mention you after a few weeks...and rarely remember to think of you...let alone pray for you. In contrast, NOONE can ever take from you...what God has lovingly given you...in spiritual rewards. THAT is your eternal treasure!

Well organized religion will trade you one for the other, so obviously they think that wealth is more valuable. Try keeping your lights on with "spiritual grace." Try feeding it to your kids. Use it to get to work and back. See how that works out. I'm not one of those people who uts a lot of value on material things, but lets face it, "spiritual grace" sounds a bit vague. If you had said wisdom, compassion, inner peace, etc. those are better than wealth. I don't know what spiritual grace is, and no one is able to provide a meaningful definition.

I agree, to have spiritual grace, you feel that you are every happy and abundant. It is that feeling that brings you wealth and happiness. No amount of money ever can bring you spiritual grace and happiness.

It is better to lost your wealth than to lost God, the faith to God.
Mat 19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
Mat 19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God

Nope. Spiritual grace is legal tender in this life AND the next. God don't take Mastercard, Visa, AmEx or Discover.
I think He might be in negotiations with Diner's Club, but only because so few people have it anymore.
