What is with the differences in the Titles? What is the original version?
I have the Qur`an in my belongings and would like to know if this is the original text.
If not I would like to obtain the original for my own personal use.

I would also like to know as to exactly who specifically uses the Qur`an/Koran in their practices.

Thank you, and, Please no Bashing

Peace and Love,
Sam

Its just a translation from arabic. It depends on how you say the arabic word. The best is Quran.

Qu'ran, Koran, same difference. The original would be a squiggly looking Arabic word that sounds like those two words sort of.

Koran was the normal way to spell it years ago. The other way is following newer rules of transcribing it.

The Qur'an is the correct spelling & pronounciation.

The muslims use the Qur'an but other religions that use some the teachings in the Quran are the:

Sabians
Bahaiism

the correct way 2 spell it is Qura'n.......in the west MOSTLY ull find ppl writing it as "koran" . neways BOTH mean the same. it doesnt mean there are diff versions of it. check out the one wid the title "quran" n the one wid "koran" ull find the words are the same. now if ur talkin abt the translations thts a different case.
ALL muslims are commanded to follow the Quran in their daily lives and put into practice what it says.

It is either because it's a transliteration from Arabic. The Arabic version has one spelling and yes it is the original. All Muslims use the Qur'an.

I wonder why you keep the qur'an.
By the way,I think the correct answer is - Al-Quran. But I dont know which versions you're holding now since you didnt mentioned it. Normally it written in arabic language. In fact you can buy Al-Quran (ready with translation's too).

There is no such thing as the "original" version any more...it has been interpreted and re-interpreted by many scholars over many centuries, and to get the "original" text would be an impossibility.

Morons, bigots and trolls use the word Koran.

*drum snare*

No, really. Generally people who have serious knowledge of Islam use the word Qur'an, bigots use the word Koran.
