yes, this is true.nothing in this world has CONLUSIVE evidence to support it.that's why we're learning new things everyday. this "conclusive evidence" is the issue most creationists give to support their claim that evolution is false.
"science has made many mistakes before so why should this be right" does that sound familiar...
well creationists, what "conclusive evidence" do you have to support creationism?
and DON'T tell me about FAITH cos if you say you have faith in God i can also say i have faith in science + please DON'T give me web sites.i need real answers from YOU.

I don't think the tension is between science and religion per say. I think the tension comes in when human nature, being what it is, emphasizes all that is wrong with us and forces us into opposite corners. The fact that religion versus science is the premier source of misunderstanding and sharp feelings of contempt hurled back and forth at each other in this forum, would suggest to any rational person that these two competing forces will never be reconciled and should perhaps go their seperate ways permanently. Up until now it's been an uneasy relationship with adherents from both sides ready and willing to fly at each others throats and become even more polarized, bridging gaps be damned.
However, even more important is what this reveals about us as humans. From each perspective, from each side, comes a whole litany of perceived values that are as dissimilar as the topics and disagreements themselves. In our never ending quest to show that our sides values and morals are better, we resort to savage, ad hominen attacks that are designed to gain one upmanship over our "adversary". But doing so doesn't come without a cost, because in the end we invariably lose or destroy most, if not all, of the very values we claimed we had in the first place. In the end, both true believers become caught as one in the same web of shame because both have become the spider and the fly.

Actually there IS CONCLUSIVE evidence to support evolution. A theory is a hypothosis that has been proven true. Evolution is called a theory because there is undeniable proof. Microbiologists watch evolution happen in real time. It took Darwin years to prove his theory; in his hometown the forests were filled with white moths that blended in with the light colored trees. When Darwin returned there years later, the trees had been covered in soot from factories. The moths had turned black to compensate. Proof. Natural selection caused the darkest moths to survive better than the others, over the years dark coloring continued to be a positive trait, light coloring was a serious negative. Survival of the fittest baby. It sucks, but that is the way it is.

The beauty of evolution, as all science, is that it can, logically, be proven wrong. This is one of the basic principles of the scientific method and it is essential.
We know what kind of evidence it would take to disprove evolution. If said evidence were to come along, evolution will have to be reworked to support the new evidence, or perhaps another theory will come up that better supports the evidence.
Atheists and scientists would immediately adopt this new idea. It wouldn't cause any schism, and it wouldn't cause any wars, and people would not be condemned to hell for it.
Creationists can say no such thing. Creation cannot logically be disproven because god cannot logically be disproven. This is definitely not a virtue! It is a fallacy. It is logically impossible to disprove the existance of something. That is why, in logic, the onus is on proving that something does exist.
Theists cannot tell us what evidence would need to come up in order to disprove god/creation. This is a fatal flaw of the logic of theism, and a very good reason for anyone to be very skeptical of religion.

Some people simply refuse to absorb the basics of evolution theory, instead preferring to falsely characterize it as "We came from monkeys." Meanwhile they devour the most elaborate and ridiculous "religious" constructs without a question. It's just a question of training.

Um, actually evolution is a demonstrated fact.
If you are talking about the theory of evolution, the explanation of how it happens, then of course it is not complete and changes as we learn more about evolution.
Creationism is just a religious scam making tons of money for Ken Ham.

yep,...... man has evolved with 300 other species of the primate family.
His earliest fossils go back to the Paleocene period, 55 million yrs ago.
Originally he was a ground dweller, but forced to become arboreal because during this early period many were killed by reptiles and rodents the size of horses.
Other periods he evolved through, were the:
Eocene period............. 36 mill yrs ago.
Oliqocene period,........ 30 mill yrs ago.
and the Miocene period,.... 23 mill yrs ago.
From here, 8 mill yrs ago, Proconsul Genus, or Africas modern apes emerged, beginning the start of primitive man.
From the Hominid genus came,
Hominoidea,.............. 6 mill yrs ago.
Homo erectus,............ 1.6 mill yrs ago.
Homo sapiens,........... 100,000 yrs ago.
Neanderthrals,............. 50,000 yrs ago.
and Cro Magnonm...... 30,000 yrs ago.
so therefore,...... with modern man, a mere 50,000 yrs old,.... he has evolved from a "very hairy" and powerfully built heavily boned cave dweller, to a modern day new age sensitive guy.
Pre historic mammal, primate, dinosaur, and reptile fossils, are all on display at Major Regional and National Museums, World Wide,..... with fossils carbon and radiation tested by geologists, paleontologists, physicists, and a host of other specialised scientists.
So,..... whether your'e a short thin asian,..... a medium built anglo saxon,...... or a 7 foot tall african basket ball player,..... their sizes and colour tones are incidental,....... because they are all modern descendants of our evolutionary primate ancestors.

Yes. However, the God theory has no evidence whatsoever, so it is not even possible to say whether or not it is conclusive.
