If God wanted to, could God create something more powerful than himself? If God is omnipotent, isn't this possible? If the being he creates is more powerful, what does that make God?

This is in the "Harrowing of Hell section." Eve says:
“Three nights ago a servant of the Savior came to hell. Now is he fast in bondage, spent with pain, for the King of glory was incensed against him because of his presumption.”
I don't know who she's talking about; I can't find it anywhere!

If someone has 4 girlfriends in a 2 year period then isnt he practicing polygamy ?

He has been or still is co-habitating with 4 women. Since common law marriage is accepted and no divorce is need.......wouldnt this be considered polygamy ?

come on christians I found it, can u find it? OR has God hidden this wisdom from u,,,,,U need the KJV to find it, the other bibles r wrote wrong. I frightend the pastor with it, cuss he was going on and on your not aloud to be married in heaven... If any one finds It I will give them 10 points. I have suffered so much on this, with no support from my family. Now I pried myself(sadly, Im sad for U)

nobody seems to know but do you think the man that wrote the bible would be surprised that Billions of people would actually believe it was for real?

I bet you he would turn over in his grave that people actually took his fiction book and turned it into reality.

Don't they understand that it's their beliefs that bother us, not them as individuals?

I recieved an email from a christian asking why I hate tthem so much, which to be honest, left me surprised.

To "hate" is a very extreme feeling that I have always found difficult to sustain.

There are some people on here who's behaviour I find appalling, but it ceertainly doesn't mean that I "hate".

There are some beliefs that I feel should be ridiculed, especially when people start presenting their case for creationism. In return, I'm constantly being told that I'm going to burn in a place that doesn't even exist. I couldn't be bothered hating people for that. I encounter people doing worse than that to me when I go to the supermarket.

In Isaiah 45:7 says this about himself - "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."

I have just been assured by several devoute Christians that what this verse really means is that God "allows" evil to exist. It does not mean that he "creates" evil.

However, the Hebrew word (bara) used in Isaiah 45:7 is the same word found in Genesis 1:1 (bara barashit elohim) where God "creates" the Heavens and the Earth.

Now what this means for apologists, of course, is that God didn't really create anything in Genesis. He simply "allowed" it to happen. Slam dunk for the Big Bang Theory and Evolution.

If you don't believe in God, then what motive do you have in life? Do you think once you die, you end up just like any other mammal and that there is nothing beyond life here? Don't you ever sometimes think there is something more, something beyond our level of understanding? Then, what is the meaning of life? Our planet was made perfect for our survival, and science doesn't seem to explain everything. I don't mean to offend anyone who is an atheist. I just want your views on this so I can better understand your point of view. I am open to your opinions just like I have mine.

for starters, im atheist. i will never change my mind, and i have always been that way. i have some friends of mine who have constantly attacked me for my religion. i have others who are either atheist or support me strongly. i live in a state with strong religion, i cant stand it. they always tell me that when they see 'christ' rise again than they can prove i am wrong. i dont mind their religion, in fact, i love learning about all religions, i just hate when people do that to me. they are are also telling me that i can be saved before i die i just have to accept christ and follow the bible. my pet peeve is people who convert me. i get alot of it. how do i get rid of all the verbal harassment for one of the rights as i have as an american citizen. i love my country, i just am who i am. how do i discourage them or stop them from doing this to me? its starting to get really annoying. NO ATHEIST BASHING PLEASE, and please dont tell me i am wrong, i just need your advice.
