Oh my goodness YES! we are all sinners, yes? Being babtized doesn't mean you will never sin again, and God knew we would sin, after John babtized Jesus, Jesus laid down His own life so that through Him we 'could' be forgiven. God is faithful. When you repent of your sins, He is just and quick to forgive you. Scripture says, "Your sins are washed away in the sea of forgetfulness" Being babtized is a symbol of His cleansing you and a example for others.
"If you forgive men their trespasses against you, Your Heavenly Father will forgive you , your trespasses. If you do not forgive men their trespasses against you, neither will your heavenly Father forgive you". That is the only thing that stops or hinder God's forgiveness. We're told if our brother sins against us 70 x 7 times, and comes to ask forgiveness, to forgive him 70 x 7, times, God isn't going to ask us to do something that He doesn't do Himself, He is Just and Faithful to forgive, and He keeps His word. The Lord's Forgiveness runs deeper than ours, He laid down His own life that you would not perish, and would have life more abundantly. If what you said were true, we might as well just sit in the babtismal tub and never get out.

baptism is nothing.most of us were all kids when we were babies some babies. jesus died for our sins. that means there is an everlasting bond of mercy with god. seek sincere forgiveness for the sins you have and they shall be resolved.
commenting on the cathlolics scarament of reconcialation where you seek the priest. there are people who needs something materialistic, so seeking a priest - someone who has focused his life in serving god for our sake - and telling him our sins, hearing the words the lord has forgiven you is comforting to many who doesnt have that close bond with god as some of you might have.

He died for all man's sins, past present and future. You just need to confess them and repent (Turn away from them) as you become aware of your sins each day. God is always ready to forgive those who's hearts want to be reconciled to Him.

Of course not! Don't you know that it is a requisite for you to "confess" all your sins at least once a week to the Catholic Priest, and then HE has the power to "absolve you of your sin, in the NAME of God"?
Nothing like making you go through life with a guilty conscience, is there? It makes more money for the Church - and gives them a degree of POWER over you, because....
"They know what you did last Summer"......(scary music cuts in about here)

I hope so!
And my God has taught me that he understands that we are weak and sin is an everyday temptation.
I believe that he only asks us not to sin - and if we do and we truly repent - there is forgiveness.
I do think that we have to put a bit of effort into not trying to sin in the first place though! it's not a'get-out-of-jail-free' pass!!
Best of luck and don't be too hard on yourself -
you are only human!

Yes but obviously some attempt should be made to correct them. We will have extra rewards for the good things and minus for the wrongs when we get to heaven.

Yes. Jesus gave us the sacrament of confession for that purpose (John 20:21-23).
