What about other planets...and those that potentially have life. Does God control life there as well?

On the one hand, it is impossible for me to believe a perfect being, God, would need a re-do of becoming incarnate, walking among another people's and sacrificing Himself all over again. I cannot reconcile that possibility with God's perfect attributes as we know them today.

On the other hand, it seems that given the expanse of the universe it is quite an awful waste of space. Then again, it may be that all that space is somehow intimately interconnected in such a way that for us to exist on Earth all of the universe is required to exist. (For example, see some of the writings of David Bohm on quantum interconnectedness or EPR theory.) How God must have wanted us to exist so badly; to create the entire universe for us!

God Controls The Whole Universe And All The Life In It

2007-04-24 17:48:37 · answer #2 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

Here's a common misconception - that a particular belief system explains everything in the known and unknown universe. Nobody has an answer for that.

However, as a Christian who also understands and accepts science, it makes sense that other planets would have life. God never said this was the only inhabited planet! The Bible never said this little rock was the only thing God created, it's just that the story takes place on earth.

As far as I'm concerned, God can do whatever he wants. He doesn't have to allow me to understand it all, much as I'd like to. If he wants other planets, fine. I have no idea what he might do with them, but it's not really my concern.

FOR US TO LIVE ON!

If Adam had not chosen a woman over God, we would have been living on them by now.

There is a limit to how many humans with Everlasting Life could have lived on Earth. We would have needed to spread out into the galaxy. And, with 100% of our mental capacity, we may have even done it without space ships.

Yes, there are all those planets with the potential for life, but we will be the ones placing it there, once this old system has passed on and humans once again roam the Earth, free from aging and illness, than that is exactly what we will be doing.

The question to ask your self is whether you want to be one of them?

Do you want to be one of the great crowd which no man can count, who will rebuild Earth back into a Paradise, than head out to colonize the Universe?

God Controls The Nature

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Hi. GOD is truly real. GOD has many planning to the universe. GOD has planned all of this, so His creation worship and praise Him. GOD create the world for the human to worship and praise Him. GOD create heaven and earth for special purpose. The other planets and galaxies had been created for special purpose too. If there have life, it is absolutly GOD's planning. We dont have to know all of the GOD's planning. We are human, not eternal, but mortal. We live in this world for about 90 years, then we die. GOD had never been born, and will never die.Eternal.
So, the other planets and galaxies had been created for special purpose (all of His Creation worship and praise Him). Also, this is the proof that GOD is real. Nothing in this world can be exist by itself. Forexample: A car is made by man. I never know there is a car that built its body itself. Every car has a creator. So, the planets and galaxies must have a Great Creator. Then the purpose ? GOD must control them. GOD must make them for purpose to worship Him. Thank you.GOD bless you.

God created it all. It is all under His sovereignty and purview. That there are other planets and galaxies has nothing to do with whether or not God is real. Think about it!

The Bible clearly speaks of the heavens above as a result of the creative act of God.

I'm missing something in your question! Or, you're missing something in your question.

Yes There are innumerable universes in the material creation. Each universe has an earth (middle planet),a hellish realm (lower planets) and heaven (upper planets) the angels or demi gods under Gods supervision control the heavens and earth and Yamaraja controls the lower planets (hell) IT is all written in the Vedas Read Bhagavad Gita As it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada tells all about this topic.

Well, I think that's a darn good question. I don't know, but I know God is real and He created them. He created us to have fellowship with Him.....it pleased Him. I'm sure He had some reason......( I agree with the others that it must have brought Him pleasure) and it's kinda nice for us, too. I hope some of those really deep Christians give us some good answers. But if not, I'm satisfied just knowing my Creator does a lot of things I don't understand, and I trust Him. The heavens are full of the glory of God.

i am not a christian i am a muslim how ever i must say this. why do humans create things??? probally for the same reason allah does. because allah felt like it. the way we look at things is we are given this life to earn heaven.if we do good we will go if not we won't. an employer is not going to give you a paycheck when you didn't bother to work. same thing for heaven. we have to EARN gods reward.the quran does not say for sure that there is any life on another planet but it does not exclude the possibility eiher. we are told that there is another life force living on this planet called the jinn. we can not see them how ever they can see us!we do not know the reasons god does the things that god does. how ever we can rest assure that god is god can do what ever god wants to do and there is not a darn thing we can do about it.

According to an astromomer who is also a creation scientist...he states that the rest of the planets in our solar system are located exactly where they need to be in order for life on earth as we know it to exist. If they were just a tad closer or further away (same thing holds true for the sun) or if their orbits were even slightly different, conditions here on earth would not support life.

If there is life elsewhere, then Yes, God created it just as he created us.
