The same thing the religious nuts here would do if they had the chance - kill us for no other crime than questioning their beliefs. And you wonder why atheists *hate* religion??
By the way, our Constitution is by no means based on the Christian or any other religion, as George Washington once stated explicitly. Whoever quoted that line about a creator got it from the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution.
We gained our independence when the Catholic Church was *still* burning "heretics" alive in parts of Europe, and the new country wanted no part of that. Most of the Founding Fathers were Deist, not Christian and had to fight off the short-sighted ones who wanted a state religion.

Preach? Atheists don't preach. Atheists lay out the facts along with supporting evidences. And its up to the listeners to take off their blinders and see things in their actuality - if they're not deluded enough, however.

Where is the preach? The only preach I saw are from Christians.
Try preaching your story to Iran, that is very much more adventure in it, but try not to worry, your god will protect you. They guns and knives will not hurt you, you are protect by the almighty ......
Anyway, the way atheist reply in this board ..... it always start with "You have to believe in god, or you burn in hell" .... or something along with that line. Atheist reply "Prove to me god existed" ......
Muslim do not go around telling people "You have to believe in Allah, or you burn in hell" ... They are perhaps more civilized more in the line of "Allah is great, he is the almighty one and he alone is the god and creator" .... Atheist reply "Oh ... OK ... Whatever...".... so ... I guess .... no go ....
It is highly apparent you had not met a Muslim before. The truly religious and moderate ones ..... Try not to read too much on the local tv station and start to be friends with the world, will you?

As recently as 1973 the house of Saud publicly executed a member of the royal family for supposed infidelity. Any guesses? You ought to be grateful for the enormous number of freedoms that Christians have sought to protect for those who are not like-minded.
"We hold these truths to be self evident: that all men are CREATED equal; that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."
The very freedom to revile the Creator is upheld by those of us who believe in Him.

CITE! ... Show just *one* "preach", please?
So... WHY THE *UNSUBSTANTIATED* ACCUSATION???
Question unanswerable - need to know your "preach."
[Edit]: It's a nerve because of unrelenting, unsubstantiated and offensive attacks by Xians. (You Xians wouldn't know.) Besides, Hey, it's a cut 'n paste.
