why are we so determined that we are right and you are wrong? I mean, if your a christian and you believe the bible and follow its precepts than good for you. if your a muslim and believe the Quran and follow its precepts then good for you. If your an atheist and dont believe in religion then good for you...but why do we get so angry when others dont believe what we believe to be true?

I'm happy being a muslim, dont want to be a christian or anything else, dont really care if christians believe what i believe or not as long as they dont get all sanctimonious about it. same for other people and religions.

God says in the Quran...'to you your religion and to me mine." how come no one can really live by that peacefully without either verbal or physical abuse? and i'm talking all religions here and its followers.

So agree with you...i almost cry yesterday reading a very very rude question toward islam...why can't everybody just stay out of the religion and spirituality section if they just want to make people angry and sad..My religion is right for me, christianity is right for you, atheist is right for you, hindu is right for you, etc. Just let everybody alone. If somebody already choose a religion or no religion, i jus don't think that we have the right too question it. If somehow, you got asked by somebody that want to join your religion, then you can preach all you want about the truth of your religion. I have so many non muslim friends, we never argue about it. There are so many things that we can argue about besides that. isn't there more to life? Its just so sad..Will there be an end to this?

most christians believe that what Christ said is true. "I am the way, the truth and the life, No one can come unto the Father except through me." What they forget however, is that the Father has to draw them, So it is a matter of election. God choses the people whom He wants to serve Him. But it also a Christians duty to point them to Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Some religions are very tolerant of other faiths. Buddhism, for example. It's sad that other major religions are so intolerant. I think that most religions are didactic and rely, by there very nature, on blind faith that their religion is the one true faith. Other religions make a mockery of this view and ardent believers in a religion often find it difficult to accept other religions.

1Tm:2:9: In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
1Tm:2:10: But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
1Tm:2:11: Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
1Tm:2:12: But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
1Tm:2:13: For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
1Tm:2:14: And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
1Tm:2:15: Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
WE ARE NOT TO BARK, THE WORD OF GOD.

I think because people build their lives on their worldview and if you threaten that foundation, they get anxious and defensive. As a Christian I think it's important to remember that we have truth on our side and we can make our points with a confident calm assurance. It normally means the other person is more willing to listen.

Buddhists don't. They're unique in that they embrace the diversity of religious beliefs as long as the focus is on moral practice rather than mindless adherence to dogma.

It has to do with the power of Truth, there cannot be variations of the truth and this is what we have today in abundance it seems.
