I live in a small town in outback Australia, where everyone knows everyone, if not they're distant relatives or know of their name.
So I am in much the same situation as you, and haven't found a Church where I feel 'Spiritually at home" so to speak.
You know where my Spirit is being fed and the Church folk aren't all in their clicky little groups but friendly.
So I am going to try another one out and just keep pursuing the Spirit of God as He leads..
Last year, I went to a few times to the Baptist Church ladies group. I found that the study and social interaction there was great, but that group closed down last year?
So I'd like to let you know, we are not going to hell if we don't go to Church.
Jesus instructed us not to forsake the fellowshipping of one another, so how about we just keep pressing into Him and find something to thank him for in a church near us.
He didn't say it was going to be a blast! *smile*
I am so glad you are a Christian and I would encourage you to fellowship with others, even if it's a ladies meeting.
And don't forget to go to Church for Communion once in a while, as He says "Do this in remembrance of me".
That's what I'm doing, because it's the best I can do for now, and I'll seek out this other church on Sunday, (ring before)
God knows our hearts and situations.*

Going to a church does not make you a Christian any more then going to a garage makes you a car. But if you are a car, it can really help preserve you and become a great place for your owner to work on you.
No it is not a sin and as long as you hold on to Jesus finished work on the cross you can't ever go to Hell. You can find a church that teaches the Bible, you just have to look for them sometimes. It will be worth the effort if you find a good one. I know Calvary Chapel teaches the Bible and there are also many more. Pray and watch. You will find something awesome. Pay attention to how much they talk about money. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. If the Pastor talks about money all the time then that is what is in his heart.
May the Lord richly bless you.

I understand and no you won't go to Hell because you don't attend church..the problem is possibly backsliding. You need to be amongst believers...if those are the only 3 churches in your area, goto one of their Bible study classes. It would be nice if you meet more believers and surround yourself with praying people. I joined my church about 13 years ago and I had some issues with it. Thank God I never left...as I grew in the Word, I learned that my Pastor was wiser than I ever thought and I judged him falsely. You're a tender shoot and I don't think you need to be uprooted just yet. I'd like to share another thing...when I accepted Christ, I found out that my pastor (not this one) would NOT wed interracial couples. Yet, this is the man the Lord used for me to accept Christ. I did not know this at first and it was not a factor in my leaving...my point is just that no place is perfect and you don't want to become a wandering saint, leaving places every time you find a fault. Get built up (more than you are now) in your faith, listen and learn from the teachings of God's annointed (in other words, not just your home Bible study) via the appointed leaders AND the lay members...those who have weathered the storm, those who can possibly really help you understand the leaders you're under (and they may AGREE with you but could be standing in the gap for these people) and finally move when the Lord says move. In our circles we call it church hopping. Just set your sites on things above and who knows, you may wind up having an effect on the people there. Remember, Satan is quite happy that you're not going around those people as well. God Bless you my sister.

If you have been saved, you will not go to hell.
It would be good if you did find a good church one day, the Bible teaches that fellowship is good, other people of faith can open your eyes sometimes of different views and understanding of Gods word. Also the bible teaches that one can not be the whole body, God has given everyone different gifts and that helps us grow spiritually, The best thing to do is pray about it and don't give up looking for another church ask God to guide you. It took me a while to find the right church too, Now I have family there, not blood, but many brothers and sisters in Christ. I have to drive about 10 miles to get there but I feel that is where God wants me.

The bible does talk about fellowshipping with others. Church can be a tough thing. The main thing is to pray about a church where God would want you. One that you feel comfortable in and you know He abounds there. You can always interview a pastor too and ask him the questions that are most important to your faith.
You won't go to hell by not attending church. The only thing that sends you to hell is rejection of the Holy Ghost and Jesus as your Saviour.

Hi, no you won't go to hell for this. You are very wise to want a church to preach the truth of God's Word.
Doing bible study is really great. You might consider seeking out like-minded families and having a "home church" (like homeschooling). We did that for many years and it was a blessing. Lots of fellowship and good bible study.
Here is one web site about home churches:
http://www.hccentral.com/
I'm sure there are other web sites.
Keep seeking God's will for your family, a good bible believing church is hard to find these days, hang in there! Keep your eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of your faith.

There are a lot of people who forget that for a thousand years only rich people could afford to go to church, if there was a church nearby.
In the last thousand years more and more churches have sprouted up so not only can we go to church, we have a choice of which church to go to.
Church, as Christ talked about it, is not a building. Church the assembly of people who believe in Christ. When you associate with people who believe in Christ you are in Church, even if it is not Sunday and you are not in a building.
The only thing you really need as a Christian is the Holy Spirit. Let Christ lead you and you will be fine. Read your scripture everyday and pray as much as you can, every waking moment if possible. Let every thought become a prayer to God.
You will be fine.

Tithing comes decrease than Moses' regulation, and Christians do not persist with Moses' regulation as Christians declare that they are decrease than grace. for this reason, tithing isn't mandatory. If all people or any church tells you in any different case, then that's a lie. *Tithing practised via Levites because of fact there grew to become into no taxation gadget, and those tithes went into communal centers, or community needs (training, homes, and so on). **Marielle, Malachi is likely considered one of the books from the previous testomony. How might desire to Jesus inform you something from the previous testomony whilst the parent of Jesus basically spread out from the recent testomony onwards?

I am a born again Christian and I don't attend a church either due to the "extras" and all that is involved. Instead I fellowship with other Christians that are also saved and we have Bible study at my husbands family's house with friends and family members every weekend and we pray, sing songs of praise and have our own service. We are not required to attend a church. It does not say anywhere in the Bible that we have to attend a church and become a religion. It only says that we are to be born again (saved) and to witness to others the word of God. Here is a website that will tell you alot as a new Christian. It will answer alot of your questions. God Bless.

Well, I do not really care if you go to your christian hell or not, but you are another victim of christianism. You are probably a person who needs someone to tell you what is right and what is wrong, because you are not able to think for yourself and make your own way in life, you are no listening your inner voice that would lead you to take the right desicions for your own. That is why you make your hardest to cling on to this specific religion, which is a lie. The whole thing of christianity is a lie that people like you love to assume as true. Thats why you are affraid of things that where invented to produce fear so you can become the perfect slave, the perfect sheep.
The true is in yourself and it is not in a contradictory holy book of fairy tales written by people of another age. But I do not pretend and I won't change your mind anyway, you see I am not a christian.
