I don't think God would care.

But if He does, we're doomed. Surely, we make some mistakes concerning worship, theology, or scripture.

Hopefully, all those mistakes aren't being counted against us.

He would mind if in your heart theres a double bacon cheesburger. if your life centers around a double bacon cheeseburger. you can only worship the creator not the created.

and i don't mean the cook either.

you can't be serious. in the bible GOD said he is who he is and he is the alpha and the omega. GOD did not say i am whatever you feel like calling me. It's obvious by this question that you have no respect for GOD cause I'm pretty sure would would never think of calling or mom or grandma a damn double bacon cheeseburger.

I don't think he minds if you call him Allah, God, Heavenly Father, Jehovah, Krishna, or whatever. However, when you pray to an object, it gives power to that object instead of to God. The benefit in praying to God is that he always uses the power that you give him to bless you in some way, whereas a burger will just store all that positive energy for itself, and give nothing back.

I think as long as you respect God by calling him whatever he means to you is o.k, such as father, Lord, Jehovah etc. (the bible has a lot of names for God). Its like calling your mother another womans name and expecting her to answer; not going to happen. If you call him the source of your food, clothes, shelter, etc. then I think God would know you are speaking to him. Example: Thank you God, Lord, Father, for this day...

If I was the supreme ruler of the universe and creator of everything, I wouldn't. Remember "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me".

Then I'd zap them with a thunderbolt.

Isn't impersonal to just call someone by a title? If you are seeking a close relationship with someone, wouldn't you call them by their name? Do you think they'd feel like you cared if you kept calling them by a title or pro-noun?
