I know this question might sound infantile, but what I'm getting at is what do YOU think is the most interesting, engrossing, etc. religion or philosophy, and why? Keep in mind, I'm not looking for a Jesus Saves thing here, I'm more focused on an objective take. I'm sure there are a number of religions out there I'm not even aware of (just discovered Zoroastrianism today). I'd like to broaded my horizons, as it were, and figured some of you out there might have something constructive to say.
Like I said, avoid using this as a placard for your own religion. Although I would like to know why you find it worthy of devotion, avoid generic responses like "God and Jesus are great, therefore Christianity is the most interesting religion." Likewise, avoid the lame liberal banter...ie: all religions are just peachy keen wonderful, lets hold hands and sing.

I have never been happier. But what made all those other ppl happy in the places I went searching didnt work for me... you may want to experiment and visit other places... go in open minded looking for the Lord and he will lead you where he wants you... Its all about him anyway he wants you where you will be happy and he can use you the most.. dont know if thats any help but noone can really answer that for you. Find whats right for you. God Bless . I love being a Mormon because it enlarges my horizons... I learn that I can become like God and have an eternal family. It gives me lots of practical advice such as tips on finances, how to prepare for emergencies or financial difficulty (eg effective food storage), cook, sew, etc.
Most importantly, we are taught how to recognise truth, wherever it is found (this is an "inner" thing, not a referral back to the Bible). This means that I can benefit from the truth found in all religions, and recognise and avoid the errors, as well. We also learn what to do to always have that feeling of peace and joy within us, all the time.

I think Buddhists are cool, but I'm not one.
Being an atheist and a Satanist, of course I think Satanism is a mighty awesome thing, but hey, that's just what works for me, i'n'it? Tried reading the Bible and the Koran, out of curiosity, but I doubt it's my thing, as far as researching matters go. Abrahamic religions aren't my favourite religions to study.
Ah, ja, Buddhism's nice, and so was Greek mythology. Yeah, most mythologies are interesting.

a lot of people will choose their religion.. you have to search yourself for which religion you find you can believe in.. no one can tell you which one is write or wrong if you don't believe in it in the first place..also you wont understand why if you don't know the religion yourself.. and it is too much to ex plane in one answer.. this would take days..
my advise to you is to go an research.. and if u have any questions then post them..
good luck..

The coolest religion? The one which has the best conditioning air system.
Seriously, religions are mystical, spiritual, transcendental, never cool.

The answer has got to be the Dionysian Mysteries. How can you beat a religion which revolves around Bacchanaliae.

The idea is really a question of what you believe. You do not have to believe anything, and your beliefs, being beliefs cannot infringe on anyone elses beliefs (like many religious people do).
