"The name of Jehovah is a strong tower. Into it the righteous runs and is given protection. The valuable things of the rich are his strong town, and they are like a protective wall in his imagination." (Pro. 18:10,11)

Assume you have religious beliefs that teach you to abstain from sex until marriage.

But what if you do not want a ceremony in the church for personal reasons or cannot get married in court for a few years? Personally, I do not want to get family involved. Its almost certain they will create headaches, unneeded stress, annoyance etc...

With all these things in consideration do you think sex before marriage is an acceptable act in God's eyes.

Note: This is a committed relationship involving individuals over 21, who have been dating and faithful for many years.

according to the bible the earth is 6000-10,000 yo, Evolution says the earth is about 47 billion yo, what do you think? Which one makes more sense?

Come on! how can you believe that! Some Scientists state that Evolution events took place millions and billions years ago, uhm it's stupid and crazy to believe something is billions years old! I rather believe the Bible and creation which states a 6000 to 10,000 period time, archaeologists find it easy to believe a bone is 2800, 4560 years old rather than 30 billion years old!

What do you think?

Or maybe your grandma's ancestors were 30 billion yo

I see a ton of under 25 atheists that are die-hard super liberals, so why is that? Is there a reason that atheists are so predictable and cliche with their political views? Why does being an atheist automatically mean a person is an anti-war pacifist, socialist, pro-choice, etc. Can't an atheist be part of the GOP too? Can't an atheist also be pro-life for personal or moral reasons? If so, can someone name an example of a famous current member of the GOP that is an atheist? or do all conservative atheists just call themselves libertarians and vote GOP?

focus on peace. What do you do to bring peace into your life?
I'm Christian, so I leave you with a Christian quote "My peace I leave with you. Not as the world giveth, give I unto you..."

I'm a girl and my Mormon friend invited me to her prom, since it's free and everything and her friends and me can just all hang out. I'm worried that I might meet a guy that I like honestly....what might happen if a non-mormon, like lets say a baptist was to marry a mormon? I am just curious.

I have tried to a least steer some to the truth. The truth of God's Word mostly. But this Global warming is deception. Propaganda for billions of dollars and people are buying into it. Oh well, one last time.

man has always been trying to make things multipurpose? the idea for some reason is just more appealing than something that only does one thing. you only need to watch infomercials at 2am to realize this. do you suppose this was originally what gave birth to the idea of the mono-theistic god? think about it. before this you had different gods responsible for all sorts of things. you had one god who was responsible for the rain, one who was responsible for the ocean, another one for thunder, another one who made the crops grow. wasn't only a matter of time before someone came along and said, "THROW ALL YOUR OTHER GODS AWAY!!! TODAY WE'RE GONNA TELL YOU ABOUT AN AMAZING ALL IN ONE GOD!!! AND IF YOU ACT NOW WE'LL THROW IN A BOOK ON ALL OF HIS TEACHINGS FOR THE AMAZINGLY LOW PRICE OF AN ENTIRE LIFE OF SERVITUDE AND OBEDIENCE!!!"

I've always been curious about the differences in what people believe. Please tell me your religion and what you believe. E.g. I am Catholic. I believe in the Holy Trinity and that Jesus is both human and divine. Every Sunday during the Eucharist I drink Jesus' body and blood in the form of bread and wine. Thanks!

This is a serious question, oh and any "well you tried to shove your relegion down my throat" responses will be ignored. Although I personally am a practicing Christain, the only time i ever have a chance to talk to an unbeliever about my faith is in DEFENSE.

Why is this? Why must we fight?
Do you have nothing better to do?
Shouldn't you be busy coming up with the next breakthrough in science to prove your idiosyncratic ways of thinking?

Surely your time can be better spent else where........

There is a new sect, which calls itself "Christian" spreading on the college campus, called "Elohim Academy". They use the Bible, believe in a mother and father god, have a special Passover at "twighlight". So far they have been spotted in New Jersey colleges, Montclair State University, Ramapo College of NJ, and other NJ colleges.

Please provide ACCURATE info, experiences, and/or direction to a website with the proper information.
