God has revealed Himself not only in history, but also in the beauty and order of His created world, thereby removing any excuse for ignorance of Himself.

I never found it convincing when I was a Christian, but accepted it to be true because I was a Christian.
It wasn't intuitively obvious to me that the night sky, the universe in broad or in detail, has to have a creator.
And having considered the alternate hypothesis, I didn't find that unthinkable.

I suggest "Look at the world, of course there's a God" only works if you have *already* got a belief in God. But the bible presents this verse and others which insist that anyone with a trace of openess should recognise god, therefore everyone who does not is morally culpable as a deliberate rebel and sinner.

Unless God chooses to reveal Himself, He is essentially invisible to our senses (Romans 1:20). The Bible instructs that the existence of God can be clearly seen in the universe (Psalm 19:1-4), sensed in nature (Romans 1:18-22), and confirmed in our own hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

Its like when you are a kid, and you play with your friends, and its evening and you look at the beautiful star-filled skies, you think to yourself, that there must be a God behind it.

Of course later on, since Western society has denied the existence of God quite a lot, the ideas of God-ignoring and -despising men influence and prevail on young minds, they will probably forget they once thought this way.

But that doesn't alter the fact that most people probably have at some time thought in this fashion.

God's qualities are seen by looking at creation itself. Like the birds and the ocean and vast creations like that. Even that stars themselves speak of God's wonderful works and his qualities.
Another good example is watching puppies playing. They make you laugh. That shows how God also has a sense of humor and like humans to enjoy his creations.
Read also Isaiah 40:26.

Genesis 1:1 is the most comprehensive.
Romans 1:20 and John 1 flesh it out.

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."

Scripture is saying we need no further proof of God's existence then to contemplate the physical world around us and its wonders and inherent design. The verse goes even further to say that not only is creation evidence of God's existence but that we can even learn something about God's nature from looking at creation. Therefore NO ONE is without excuse who denies God is real and loves us.

Even Satan and the Devils are not stupid enough to deny God exists.

Theologians developed the "teleological argument" for the existence of God using this verse.

It will probably be God's response to the "ignorance" defense offered by unbelievers on judgement day.

No one can say they didn't know there was a God. They can only admit they chose not to believe the clear evidence they witnessed first-hand each and every day of their lives.

God loves you and so do I.

20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Ever since creation, we have been able to see God's power. Not only in His creation, but through other's lives. We have no excuse not to believe in God because He has displayed His majesty everywhere!

Hope this helps!
God bless!!!

God's finger prints and his divine nature and provisions for his creations is a testament to his greatness. Men are without excuse to give him honor as Lord and creator over all, for it is his greatness of his creation alone is a testament to his splendor. So to deny God in itself is not excusable. I think it is God's answer to man's belief in evolution.
