I see on this site some Christians Judgeing others. Lets face it, if you are a Christian, then God is the only Judge, not you!

I have a clear explanation to this. God is our Father. Think of it this way. If you had a child and he wanted to skateboard and dirtbike, would you mollycoddle him all the time, or would you let him learn his lessons? I personally would let my child learn his own lessons. The problem is that the human race does not learn from its mistakes and we continue to go to down the wrong path. We practice hate on a daily basis around the globe, and that hate leads to wars. God is hoping we realize what we did wrong and He is hoping we correct it. Do you see what I'm saying?

Most people just wear shorts and t-shirts anyways, why not just accept reality that we are nothing more than animals and walk around naked when our environment allows it. If one were to apply critical thinking it would be clearly evident people who wear clothing in an environment that does not require it are just plain delusional.

Please read the entire post because I do not want people shouting out things like 'Christianity is the true religon' or 'my god is the only real living god'

Literal interpretation of any faith comes from those who look only at the surface (like saying yes the everything is created in 7 days or Noah really captured 2 of every species on a boat). These believers feel that meaning and factuality are inextricably linked (they say the bible is factual because it is), and for this they fail to appreciate the true genius and beauty of the faith, as well as the beauty and similarity of other faiths (they close their eyes and ears for other religons). Monks of one religion understand and respect monks of another religion.

Bottomline: Laymen of one religion hate and mistrust the laymen of other religions.

So how do you educate these people so we can wipe out ignorance and senseless hatred?

If you r one of these laymens, then what would it take for you to stop hating others?

I am an Orthodox Jew but I have dated Reform and Conservative Jews before and there was never a problem. A Jewish woman is a Jewish woman no matter how religious she is.

A Christian is still a Christian if he/she believes in Jesus. So, what is the big deal of Mormon dating a Baptist or a Catholic? You are all Christians in my book.

I have a christian roomate..who enjoys religous discussions..I do too but know he is actively trying to convert me. He is giving me books, he took me to a church once. I don't mind any of it but he is all lke "If you convert we can be better friends" and how he wants to "Save me"...he keeps tellling me I want to come to Christ and it is really irritating....the point is I'm muslim and I've decided to stay muslim...what is the best way to make this guy get the point without being a jackass or raising your voice?

Obviously it doesn't apply to everyone but I have just noticed a lot of you are going to hell and all that. While I respect Jesus's teaching I don't follow them. I don't understand how people can get upset because people bash thier faith but are perfectly willing to bash others?

"If we came from monkeys, how come there are still monkeys" especially when followed with a hilarious "Case closed"

...or are there more than one that can successfully keep people from experiencing reality through critical thinking? It seems that if there were only one, people would converge on it over time. People in others would find breaks in the magic circle of logic and those faiths would die out.

How do the Mormons believe what the Holy Bible says and the Book of Mormon? They completely contradict each other.

I have been a volunteer at a ministy for quite some time now. I work 3 days a week 4 hours each day for free, I clean the sanctuary, work with the homeless and help lower income familys with out side resources. Today, I was at work working in the childrens closet organizing clothes and putting away donations, I came across 3 nice pairs of boy pants that a friend of mine could very much use for her little boy, her husband recently died and is struggling, I was going to put the clothes in my car when I was stopped by a regular paid employer who asked did i get permission to take these items
I told her well I didnt think I need to do that because when i first started the minister told me i was welcomed to take things, whatever to that anyway I said I will go ask, the minister who said I could was not there so I had asked the finacial adviser, not expecting a problem, well I was wrong, she stated no one was allowed to take there donations I was shocked

People attack what they are afraid of, whether they attack it legally, socially, physically, or religiously. The things that religious people attack others about are the things they find frightening...differences. Yup. Whether it's a difference in sexuality, clothing, faith, language...whatever. Fear of difference spurs attacks and imposed division.

Do what you will with it.

Oh and very cute all the "can you prove he does" arguments, perhaps you should at least study the ideology before negating it.
MY belief structure is not based on PROOF as is yours, MINE is based on FAITH, now does anyone intelligent want to answer the question?

Do Christians believe it is okay for us to rape our land
pollute it, and our own sacred bodies in the process?
Why all the antagonism against global warming?
Which isn't even an attack on a kind of person! It's a call to save our very planet, our only home AS WE KNOW IT.
Why isn't this a Christian cause? Where in the bible does it read 'global warming is a myth, even if the rest of the world tells us it isn't?' Is it really all just political and you're still angry that the dems took congress and senate?

It seems to me that by spelling overcorrectly, a believer displays pride and intellectualism and thereby devalues the pure faith. To avoid this, we all should agree on official and mandatory misspellings for the hottest topics in here, for example:

ATHIEST, CHRISTAIN, MISLUM, CATHLICK, PAYGAN, CRAETION, EVILOTION, MONKIE, JAYHOOVER, JEESIS ... you get the idea, feel free to complete the list ...
