It seems to me that by spelling overcorrectly, a believer displays pride and intellectualism and thereby devalues the pure faith. To avoid this, we all should agree on official and mandatory misspellings for the hottest topics in here, for example:
ATHIEST, CHRISTAIN, MISLUM, CATHLICK, PAYGAN, CRAETION, EVILOTION, MONKIE, JAYHOOVER, JEESIS ... you get the idea, feel free to complete the list ...

Dear NaturalBornKieler,
This theological debate goes back to the time of the ancient Hebrews when the scribes deliberately misspelled the name of God for fear that mispronouncing it would be a sin (thus virtually ensuring that any future generation that tried to say it would mispronounce it). From your suggested list of misspellings I wonder, should an agnostic be called an ATHIER, since it is someone who hasn't reached the superlative extreme of an ATHIEST?
To address this issue, I offer the following plan for the improvement of English spelling:
For example, in Year 1 that useless letter "c" would be dropped to be replased either by "k" or "s", and likewise "x" would no longer be part of the alphabet. The only kase in which "c" would be retained would be the "ch" formation, which will be dealt with later. Year 2 might reform "w" spelling, so that "which" and "one" would take the same konsonant, wile Year 3 might well abolish "y" replasing it with "i" and Iear 4 might fiks the "g/j" anomali wonse and for all.
Jenerally, then, the improvement would kontinue iear bai iear with Iear 5 doing awai with useless double konsonants, and Iears 6-12 or so modifaiing vowlz and the rimeining voist and unvoist konsonants. Bai Iear 15 or sou, it wud fainali bi posibl tu meik ius ov thi ridandant letez "c", "y" and "x" -- bai now jast a memori in the maindz ov ould doderez -- tu riplais "ch", "sh", and "th" rispektivli.
Fainali, xen, aafte sam 20 iers ov orxogrefkl riform, wi wud hev a lojikl, kohirnt speling in ius xrewawt xe Ingliy-spiking werld.

Since it is impossible to spell 'over-correctly' (you either get it right, or you do not) it cannot be seen as 'Pride' (or the Sin of Pride) when you do succeed at getting it right.
Simply Good typing skills

LOL! That's the funniest thing I've read here in a week. You must be a newcomer. This is us. In our haste to post, we forget our valuable third grade education. I'm an english teacher and sometimes, I make horrific errors in my spelling, but that is because I type so fast. Love it!
