In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the begin-ning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory. —John 1:1-3, 14a
For by Him all things were created ....All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things.... —Colossians 1:16-17

God, who at various times and in different ways spoke in time past to 1 the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds. —Hebrews 1:1-2

Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM." —John 8:58

But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever." And: "You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands"

Isn't that hard to refute?

I believe that there is a set of moral codes that transcends all political, cultural, ethnic and religious boundaries. I was wondering what others opinions are on this. If does exist what are these 'codes'?

If you truly want to know just watch the video. Even a Christian will see how brainwashed these poor bastards are. The video really is the only way to see things from our perspective.

To embrace him like nothing else in life?

If GOD is not there or exsist how do you explain how many people have had drastic miracles in there life, like being healed from a disease, saving a hopeless marraige, finding love hope and truth when they embrace GOD what causes that if not for GOD?

It is what GOD does for a person after they give there life to him that makes him real Do you really think people would seek out GOD and honor him if he did not hear there prayers and answer?
Those who search will find God

THIS IS WHY WE KNOW GOD IS REAL
I love all who love me. Those who search for me will surely find me.
Proverbs 8:17 NLT
Now how can you really dispute that...

the law of causality states that everything that has a beginning has a cause. agreed? so something out there has to be eternal because to be eternal is to be outside of time and never to have begun. now, some atheists may argue that the universe itself is eternal. but Einstein proved that theory to be false when he discovered that the stars of the solar system are moving outward. henceforth , the universe is expanding. meaning, its growing and effected by time. so if its not the universe that is eternal, something else is..... meaning a God perhaps?

Why do catholics say that Peter was the rock on which the church was built? Matthew 16:18 says : " I now say to you: You are Peter and on this rock I will build my Church....." In Ephesians 2:20 it says: "Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone:..." Even Augustine(the catholics call him St. Augustine), recognized that, although He had at an earlier time said that the rock referred to Peter, he later recognized that in the scriptures it says, "Thou art Peter" and not"Thou art the rock was said to Him. But the rock was Christ, in confessing as whom also the whole church confesses, Simon was called Peter." (The Fathers of The Church- Saint Augustine, the Retractations)[Washington, D.C.; 1968], translated by Mary I.Bogan, Book I, p. 90. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

So why America?

If anyone happened to watch the show..The gentleman was asked how did everything begin, and (O'Riley) don't give me an answer what Science is able to identify, but how did it all start in the first place? he could not answer...

Why do Atheists do this? if they cannot figure it out why can't they just admit maybe there is a GOD we just don't know.

Thoughts?

Okay before I begin I am a Caholic who believes in evolution, as it is by far the best theory we got, but i went to wikipedia and looked up creationationism and saw that there were a few types.

Young Earth creationism is the belief that the Earth was created by God within the last ten thousand years, literally as described in Genesis, within the approximate timeframe of biblical genealogies (detailed for example in the Ussher chronology). It rejects not only radiometric and isochron dating of the age of the Earth, arguing that they are based on debatable assumptions, but also approaches such as ice core dating and dendrochronology. Instead, it interprets the geologic record largely as a result of a global flood.

This seems highly absurd and i assumed it was only radical Christian sects who believed this, but i found out 47 percent of Americans believed this. Almost half of America supposedly believes in this garbage.
