Don't say nobody believes it. There is proof in every culture in this world that there was a time when a great flood came. God did it because He was sorry He created man. They had become so vile that He could find only Noah who worshiped and loved Him. God set His plan in order. The animals probably understood the way of things better than the humans there weren't animals clamering to get on the ark at the last minute. It's not that complicated it just requires faith.[ not religion]

Why would people believe that God zapped everyone except Noah?
But the flood has left evidence.
There are human and dinosaur footprints in the same rock.
Remains of plumb trees have been found above the Arctic circle.
Frozen palm trees in Antarctica.
Woolly Mammoths were frozen at such a low temperature that they did not rot inside.
The Mammoths had tropical been pods in their mouths and stomachs.

The book of Genesis, in Hebrew, describes a local flood that only affected southern Mesopotamia. Archeology has confirmed a devastating flood that occurred in the same place and at the same time as the flood of Genesis - so I see no reason to assume that it didn't happen.

Psssssssssssssssssssst. It's a a STORY. It is about redemption, being washed clean, and a promise of a future. The Rainbow, means that God puts God's bow in the sky and promises to never destroy people again. Bow, as in bow and arrow. It is not that God destroys, but that the choice people make cause destruction-genocide, greed, poverty, oppression, destruction of the environment. Perhaps rainbows can remind us to wash ourselves of these destructive practices.

how is it impossible? there's still enough water on Earth to flood it to the proportions of the flood with the right conditions: gysers, rainflooded rivers, saturated soil.....
and by giving them the ark He gave them a way out, like He did with Christ and our salvation. zapping would have been "I'm fed up, die!" not "you have your chances. I suggest you take them"

God isn't a superhero. It put trust into Noah. You don't believe it? Check out AnswersInGenesis.org.

Because, apparently, there are some sheep who will and do believe anything despite any reasonable thought or evidence to the contrary.
