...or are there more than one that can successfully keep people from experiencing reality through critical thinking? It seems that if there were only one, people would converge on it over time. People in others would find breaks in the magic circle of logic and those faiths would die out.

There is only one God, and only one way to God, through Jesus Christ.

There are many religions and every religion has true followers. Any religion with true followers would respect other religions also as their own and respect them. In such a situation every one can co exist without hurting the other. In that atmosphere all Gods are equal and all Saints are same.

But, in today's world it is only an Utopia ! Is it not ?

there is either one true religion or all are (partially) false, if all are partially false, you can take apart the true parts and combine them to make a religion that is not false thus true, then you have reduced the problem to the first case. So you can safely state without loss of generality that all religions are either entirely false , or one religion is entirely true. but this is what you already said. ok now suppose there is one true one , take apart one element of it and promote the negation of this element to a new religion, this religion is obviously false, but then we have two religions one that is true and one that is false, this is not possible thus all must be false.

The Bible says- I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the father but by me.
God's invitation is open to everyone, every color, in the whole world.

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to have a walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all (Ephesians 4:1-6).

Of course there's only one true religion. It's the one that each religious person believes in. All the others are just fairy tales.

There is. It is called NONE.
Religion is a poor substitute for a living connection with spirit, just like junk food is a poor substitute for nutrition.
All-That-Is is not a static snapshot of perception but rather a moving, flowing, ever-changing energy.
The only thing that does NOT change here is that it is only ONE - and that ONE is everywhere, in everything, in everyone.
Religion strives to exactly oppose this as it strives to imbue God with judgment that is based on limited HUMAN perspective.

There are many true religions. They all lead you down the same road if you look at them all. They all have the same base line, An it harm none, do what thou wilt.
