I'm a girl and my Mormon friend invited me to her prom, since it's free and everything and her friends and me can just all hang out. I'm worried that I might meet a guy that I like honestly....what might happen if a non-mormon, like lets say a babtist was to marry a mormon?

1. Christians shouldnt marry non-christians, its called being unequally yolked.
2. Mormons cant marry a non-mormon, without them first converting. Even then, non-mormons arent allowed in the mormon temple during the wedding.
3. Words of advice, "We dont go to high school to meet your future husband, you go to meet you bridemaids"
=] hope i helped.

Most of the time, and there are exceptions, mormon males will treat you with respect and dignity, especially if you're a non-member. As a non-member, you haven't been taught since age 4 that your place is subservient to the male "head of the Household", or that your only earthly duty is to make dinner, beds and babies. In the afterlife it's just babies, but that's a whole 'nother topic.
Essentially, you're an unknown quantity, the forbidden fruit, so to speak.
As long as the conversation is not dominated by *his* lds religion, it might be interesting.
If he wants to baptize you, call the cops.

Though I think you're jumping the gun a bit...
For the marriage to be recognized by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, you have to convert and be married in the Temple.
However, if you chose not to convert, you could marry in a plain old LDS church - not the temple.
Most Mormans who marry Non-Mormans have two ceremonies - one in the church so that everyone (including the Non-Morman's family) can attend the wedding. On people who are "Worthy" are allowed to go to the Temple.
Hope that helps!

Its jumping the gun. But my advice is to be carefull. Mormon men are different. They look at women as less superior than men.
I dated mormon men That just wanted to sleep with me. Mormon men can get way with this. if women can't without giving trouble from their bishop. crazy

hmmm isn;t this jumping the gun by quite alot. there is a big difference between going to a Prom and meeting someone. An even bigger difference between meeting someone and going out with them. And a HUGE difference between going out with them an marrying them. Why don't you take step one before you worry about step 987654321. Also if your going to a prom please give yourself a few years before you start thinking about marriage.

non-Mormons should never mar anyone.
And it's Baptist.
If you were to marry a Mormon, you'd likely have to convert first.
