focus on peace. What do you do to bring peace into your life?
I'm Christian, so I leave you with a Christian quote "My peace I leave with you. Not as the world giveth, give I unto you..."

My peace in life is my family, and my faith in God. My son gives me joy as does my bf and my other family members.
My faith in God gives me hope, joy and peace for the hard road we all have to face ahead of us.

I like the answer that had the John Lennon song 'imagine' in it.
What also brings me peace is the ever-dawning understanding that all conflict is only in the perception, that all are nothing but fragments of myself, and I myself am a fragment of God.
I have unsubscribed from CHristianity because it does more to inspire separation than oneness.
I never have been separated from God and do not need to return to God.
It has only been my judgment (of myself and others) that created the illusion of separation from All That Is.
If God is omni-present, and I believe God is, since it is All That Is, there cannot be a 'place' where God is not.
Hence, I embrace the peace you offer with your words as I recognize it coming from a human who was aware of this.
May his 'followers' embrace this peace instead of drawing demarkation lines between 'believers' and 'non-believers' - or may they continue to fuel the fire between warring religions on this planet.
It makes no difference. All eventually come into oneness. The paths diverge, and so does the experiential quality of the journey.
Namaste.

I prefer this quote:
"Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one"

The Buddha Dharma brings me peace, by helping me understand my perceptions, and subdue any subsequent anger to a degree.

Amen to that sister. I would be the stark raving lunatic the atheist accuse me of without the peace He has given. Thank God despite what the fundamentalist preach He is still in charge.

I find peace in front of the Blessed Sacrament. In the Catholic Church Christ is present in the Eucharist and you can visit a church anytime to make a visit to Jesus and contemplate His Passion, Death and Ressurection.

Exactly Tonya. The only place I find it is in Him and His word. Of course, the beauty of nature also has a calming effect, but it's His creation....so He is there with me.
