That would be up to them. If the Baptist wanted to stay Baptist and the Mormon wanted to stay Mormon, and it was fine by them, the church wouldn't have a problem with it. There's a guy on here that has an agnostic wife and for him there's no problem. There's a guy in a different ward but in my stake who's wife isn't a member and he's not treated any differently than anyone else, and neither is she.
Dealing with family members beliefs and how to raise children is a different story.
Oh, I'm Mormon.

First of all it its a mormon prom you better make sure your dress has a shawl or sleeves and doesnt go down too low. Secondly, mormons can marry non mormons its just pretty rare. Most devout mormons want to get sealed in a temple instead of married in a church (or wherever) and you cant get into the temple unless you are mormon and you get approved. Also, if you get very serious with a mormon boy make sure you are grounded in your own faith first if that is what you want to keep.

Major Problems, Mainly because Moromns who want to reach godhood have to be married in the temple, and they can only get married in the temple if they are married to a mormon. So even if you arent a mormon there wil be heaps of pressure to become one. And that, my friend is the last thing you want to do. You are a baptist so you obviously believe christ dies for your sins, and you are saved through his blood being shed on the cross. Mormons do not believe this they may believe in Jesus but it is a Jesus created by Joseph Smith and all his fellow members of the church. They believe that Jesus bllod can not atone for all sins and that someone should be killed in order to have their sins atoned. It is a doctrine called blood atonement.

Okay, you just jumped from going to a prom to trying to figure out what to do if you marry a Mormon?!? Learn to enjoy the ride, you are counting your chickens before they hatch. Just go to the prom and then see what happens and take each step as it happens.

Mormons often want to marry in the temple to be sealed that's why most mormons marry mormons, but in order to marry in the temple both of you have to be mormon and temple endowed. If one is a mormon and the other isn't then you would have to marry by law which is permited by the curch but it is not eternal marriage like the temple marriage.

various individuals of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) marry outdoors their faith. No member is ever refrained from for marrying outdoors the trail. i've got faith the comparable may well be reported for individuals of Baptist churches (that they are able to marry somebody outdoors their faith).

It's gonna take a LOT of work! You have to decide how you're gonna raise your children. You're gonna have a lot of other baptists telling you things that you might not like, or he might not like.
You'd have to be REALLY in love.

You would be asking for trouble.
Being "unequally yoked" in marriage causes disunity. How can husband and wife be one when they disagree on something so basic as religion??
And what about the children? They will be so confused.
Marry someone who thinks as you do.
