I was wondering about about Adam and Eve. If they had two kids; a boy and girl, how could they make more kids and more generations? Would a brother and sister have to make kids? I mean, let's say Adam and Eve had two kids, Lucy and Bob. How would they make another generation without more people? Wouldn't Lucy and Bob have to have kids? Or did God make new people pop up out of nowhere?

Or is it a metaphor? Is God actually telling us the whole world was made by two people or is it just trying to show you how crappy the human race is with their sinning? My point is, is that scripture for showing the world about sinning or is it for showing the world how it was made?

The Bible says, "just BELIEVE", and "have FAITH", and leave the rest to God. Simple presciption, difficult to implement! At what point can u say, "Eureka, thats the solution from God", even when its not what u desire. Serious and PRACTICAL answers pls

If Christianity was to become illegal would they find enough evidence against you to warrant an arrest?

I can't believe in God. There is no evidence of God. I don't believe Jesus was any type of savior and he most definitely wasn't the son of God. I can't convince myself to believe in something nobody can prove exists. I don't see what kind of God would rule that way, which is why I stay away from religion.

The reason I ask is that I recently saw a creationist post claiming that paleontologists all over the world were rethinking how they have typically arranged dinosaur bones in museums.

No source was left, but with careful googling the closest news story I could find was that one museum was redoing its dinosaur fossil collection in response to recent discoveries. Most of the changes they were making were very minor. Hardly a challenge to paleontology or evolution!

The post was so exaggerated, so dishonest, that it could not be dismissed as some less-educated person misunderstanding a news story they saw on TV. (Which happens all the time and is less worrisome.) Instead, this creationist was clearly trying to sway public opinion (on YA at least) with a lie.

So in your opinion, how many creationists are just uneducated people who we could actually pity a bit, and how many are bona fide liars who think they can advance the cause of Jesus by bearing false witness?

I read a lot of Christian responses that say things along the lines of, "Majority rules, most Americans are Christians, so we're right!".

There are more people in China than there are in the United States. Most of them do not believe in your god.

Does majority still rule?

I would truly love it if Jesus returned within our lifetime but is it possible? Could we be so lucky for him to return now. Alot of people probably have doubts but I would love to know if anyone out there has any inside info on whether the second coming will be soon. It would be awesome for all the misery to be sorted out by Jesus now dont you agree?

We need Yahoo's help to stop the issue with unfair account suspensions, people reporting posts just because they disagree (not because they are in violation). Will you join me in helping get Yahoo's attention? I posted the attached to Y!A suggestion board. If you agree, and if you support this cause, I ask you to vote for the suggestion. The more votes, the more Yahoo might listen and help us right this wrong! I don't know if it will help, but let's at least make our voices heard! After all, the next person who may be targeted could be YOU!

If you have a minute, please read the attached and please support your R&S friends (and foes!) by voting for this suggestion. We hope to catch the attention of Y!A before even one more person is unfairly suspended.

Not including everyone else who ever lived, that means 144,000 out of 6 billion. That is a 41,000 to 1 bet. So even if I do accept Pascals bet, it's pretty damn lousy odds isn't it?
