144,000 will go to heaven to rule as kings and priests with Jesus. There will be more that will be saved. Many more. The Bible calls them a great crowd out of all nations. They will inherit a paradise earth and live on it forever. (Matthew 5:5)

The 144,000 Jews / Israelites who are sealed in Revelation 7:4-8 are sealed for the specific purpose of being “evangelists” during the Tribulation period. The sealing provides protection from the plagues and devastation brought on by the trumpet and bowl judgments, as well as from the wrath of the Antichrist. The 144,000 is not a limit to how many people will be saved, but rather is just a select group of Jewish believers called to proclaim God’s message during the end times. There will be perhaps millions of other converts during the Tribulation, most of them a result of the 144,000’s ministry.

Hello Contrarian,
This is what it says in my commentary from Revelation Chapter 14:
The 144,000 that you are asking about refer to the 12 tribes of Israel. They are probably the elect of Israel (most likely Jews) sealed by God halfway through the seven-year tribulation period. They are the "first-fruits" in contrast to the general harvest. They may be referred to as firstfruits because they were the first to be saved during the tribulation period. Others believe that this confirms that the 144,000 were Jews, God's bride, His firstfruits, much as the church is the bride of Christ.
At the beginning of this chapter we see the Lamb (Christ) standing on Mount Zion. He is with the 144,000 on the earth. Mount Zion is another name for Jerusalem. There are many passages in the Bible, especially in Psalms, which tell us the Zion is God's chosen place on the earth: "For theLord has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling: 'This is my resting place forever and ever.....' " Psalm 132:13-14
Although this is the only reference to Zion in Revelation, itseems to confirm several Old Testament passages that suggest that Jerusalem will be the center of Christ's earthly Kingdom when he returns. (see Isaiah 2:3-4; Psalm 48:2)
I really hope that this is of some help to you.

The 144,000 mentioned in Revelation refers to a select group taken from all of the tribes of Israel:
Rev 14:3-5 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
The number 144,000 was derived from the number taken from each tribe. (Revelation 7:5-8) However, there are countless millions of redeemed people who stand around the Throne of God and praise Him:
Revelation 7:9-10 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
So there will be countless numbers of the saved in Heaven, along with the 144,000 from the tribes of Israel. I'd say that improves your odds considerably. . .
. . .assuming that you're willing to repent of your sins and turn to Christ for forgiveness and salvation, that is.

Friend, those 144,000 is none other then JEWS, they are not Gentiles, They are Jewish people that will be sealed by the ministry of the 2 Jewish Prophets. There will be Gentiles saved down throught the grace age. Too, many JW thinks those 144,000 is JW or The only ones that will be saved, Why does these 144,000 flee into the wildeness to be kept from the anti-christ.

I am not a great student of Bible prophesy but I am of the understanding that is from the time of the tribulation. The tribulation is 7yrs so that is 144,000 during that time only. Up until then anyone who is trusting in Christ will be saved.

You can accept if you like, it does appear that it will not be of much help.
The Bible Revelation 7:4 - 8
Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.
From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed,
from the tribe of Reuben 12,000,
from the tribe of Gad 12,000,
from the tribe of Asher 12,000,
from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000,
from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000,
from the tribe of Simeon 12,000,
from the tribe of Levi 12,000,
from the tribe of Issachar 12,000,
from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000,
from the tribe of Joseph 12,000,
from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.
Actually the odds may be even less than that stated . You must also be a member of one of these tribes Of Israel.
How many of us qualify for that now. Pascal makes too many unsupported and non verifiable assumptions for me.
Have a pleasant day.

Can you please tell me the book, chapter, and verse you are quoting? I would like to check the exact wording.
144,000 is 12 time 12 time 1000 which does not mean a number but an expression: A thousand dozen dozen, a very big number.
For example, I got your six, does not mean the number six but a position on a clock where twelve is front and six is back.
Answer: So instead of show me the number, show me the verse, that is book/chapter/verse.

You don't know enough about the Bible, or Paschals wager to ask such a question. Tead the Bible and then you will understand about the 144,000. Anyone who bases his beliefs on Paschals wager is believing in the wrong thing.

The Bible does not say only 144,000 will be saved.
The Bible does say 144,000 will be saved AND adds:
"And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold, those also I must bring." John 10:16
Actually, anyone who wishes to "be saved" can be.
