I can't believe in God. There is no evidence of God. I don't believe Jesus was any type of savior and he most definitely wasn't the son of God. I can't convince myself to believe in something nobody can prove exists. I don't see what kind of God would rule that way, which is why I stay away from religion.

Heaven is being in the presence of God.
Hell is being AWAY from God.

Think of it as you were given the opportunity to be best friends with someone but you chose to believe that they don't exist. Then you'll not hang out with this great person because you didn't believe.

God says on Judgment Day you will be face- to -face and this is the pivotal point where you will choose to repent or choose to move far away from God. This is more like a simile of getting married. Say you had an opportunity to court the girl and get to know her verses standing at the alter making a split decision (yes or no) while looking at someone who was wearing a veil and you want more information. Getting to know God NOW will make Judgment Day more pleasant 4 u.

For one thing a lot of people get caught up in religion that they miss Christ.

It's not about religion, it's about having a relationship with Jesus.

You don't believe because you are trying to see with the natural mind by listening to other people or reading books,
etc.

Believing comes through faith, and faith is in your heart, which
gives you the evidence of God.

God draws you to His Son, Jesus. Jesus sends the Holy Spirit, Who reveals Truth.

If you don't beive it's between you and you. Because the difference is is that you don't believ and they do!- So whats the problem. And if behind your atheism your trying to show some interest in believing in God I can tell you that Christians defintely know that He exists when they've EXPERINCED Him, because He: answers prayers, guides you, and when you fast and pray for something in life and He answers you- thats how they know and thats the power of God!

God bless :)

God believes in you. He cares enough about you to send those who have accepted his son as their savior to give you the good news according to the Gospel. You have the right to reject that which is presented to you, no one can make you accept Jesus. God would rather you accept than reject him, it is Gods desire that no one go to hell, but men/women have already sent themselves there and more will follow because they chose to reject God. read John chapter Three verses one through 21.

It's because they are supposed to. If they don't tell you that you are going to hell if you don't believe than they are going against the teachings of Christianity. I get told that all of the time and since I personally don't believe in hell it doesn't bother me.

OOOhhhh BURN.

It's just a simple scare tactic. Talk about the horrible actions and ruckus going on in hell and maybe we'll reel another one in...Like putting the fear of the devil into you or something.

Ditto though, I feel ya on that question.

its easy to see how a person can get to thinking like that ... forget religeon and search out the truth for urself is all i can say ..no need to just refuse a whole area of God and spiritualism because of what other people think ..

If God is real, he probably does not care about human
events and lives. If he does care, he is not judgmental. If he is judgmental, he would not punish me for critical thinking. If he does punish atheists for coming to the wrong conclusion, he's not much of a God.

remember not all christians condemn you.

You might just say to them "well from what I know, God will be the one to judge, not you." Or "Judge not lest thee be judged."

They might be worried about you, but most likely they've been brain washed. I'm a Christian, but I know that I'm not the one to be judging.

That should shut them up.
