DNA sampled from many different Native American samples now conclusively demonstrates that Native Americans are descended from people in Asia.

So Joseph Smith's claim that Native Americans are the descendants of Israelites (says so in the Introduction to the Book of Mormon) has been proven false.

Response?

The Bible is the perfect and complete word of God and nothing can happen between God and man that isn't in the Bible. So what's the point of theology? If you say it's to understand the word of God better that implies there are things in the Bible not understood, which leaves it open for translation and the possibility of say other events yet understood, such as the mormon prophet or the creation of the non-catholic church, and yes there obviously is a question denoted by the question mark.

If there is such a thing as an entity capable of hearing all our thoughts and seeing all our actions, this entity must be very complex. Did this entity evolve with time or was it created by an even more complex one?

In response to my last question, I was called miserable, lonely, ugly, f**khead, and a pillow biter.

Non of these of course are true, and if the intention is to make me angry, it failed pretty badly.

Why are some christians so precious about their faith that when it's foundations are questioned, they resort to silly name calling?

Don't they realise how much of an embarrassment they are to other christians when they do this?

Atheists do not believe in a God because they state there is no proof that God exists. Exactly what type of proof are they after ? They never seem to say. It's always "factual", "credible", "empirical", "logical"(existence is logical ?) etc etc, but never an example. Oh, except for the "so you believe in the Tooth Fairy too do you ?" argument. Yes, most compelling.
Funnily enough they never offer proof of God's non-existence, or even reasoning. "There is no evidence" they say, "you can't prove God does exist" they say, and that is it. Hardly a winning argument in my book.

The guy is a white male that wears a heavy brown robe, similar to one you picture monks with but darker, shaved head, and an extremely long beards. He also wears rope or birkenstock looking sandals. I was just wondering if this was a religion, or just his general style. If it is a religion....which? I have seen him all year, and have constantly been wondering!

JW's have a long history of failed prophecies, especially the return of Jesus.

What do their follower's think about this? It appears that they are not being held accountable for misleading those who put their faith in them. The excuses are endless.

Serious replies please.

A strong faith and belief in anything makes one biased. The belief creates a circle around us and some times put a barrier preventing one to look around with an open mind. Most of us "inherit" our faith and belief from our parents rather than ourselves studying various alternative faith and beliefs on "God and Religion".If we come out of the barrier we can breath fresh air and tend to be unbiased in our views and actions -offering help to everyone. If one can't break the barrier, atleast we can respect persons having different faith and belief. This will enhance peace and prosperity among us.

I completely understand if you have not accepted Christ as your Savior, that you are asked not to partake. But I don't understand believers not taking communion. This is simply educational for me, so anything you know would be great, and I will respect your answer.

"Our earth is degenerate in these latter days. There are signs that the world is speedily coming to an end. Bribery and corruption are common." -- an Assyrian clay tablet dating to approximately 2800 BC

There are many, many others; many generations saw certain signs that made them absolutely convinced the end of the world was near.
