Atheists do not believe in a God because they state there is no proof that God exists. Exactly what type of proof are they after ? They never seem to say. It's always "factual", "credible", "empirical", "logical"(existence is logical ?) etc etc, but never an example. Oh, except for the "so you believe in the Tooth Fairy too do you ?" argument. Yes, most compelling.
Funnily enough they never offer proof of God's non-existence, or even reasoning. "There is no evidence" they say, "you can't prove God does exist" they say, and that is it. Hardly a winning argument in my book.

Define evidence. Rhetoric ? Right back at you. Did you even read my post, or did you just want to be an example for my argument ?
If it's documented case studies, the Roman catholic church can provide you with investigations of what they have decided are miracles. I can't tell you if they are truly miracles or not, but they investigate them and provide documentation, much the same as scientists do.

Anything credible will do...define credible ? You atheists are a one trick pony. For (insert name of preferred deity here)'s sake, give me an example !!!

Any proof, not one shred of evidence - please elucidate . Billions of believers, not proof per se, but so-called empirical evidence. Documented miracles ? May constitute proof, even in a court of law ! Still no examples, still no proof God doesn't exist. One trick ponies.

helleluia ! "We're not looking for proof. Why look for proof of something you don't believe in?" An honest atheist. Why would a believer look for proof for something they do believe in ? That pony must be getting awful tired.

"I'm not after any evidence.
Are you after evidence that Thor, Zeus, or Osiris exist? Why not?"... you forgot the tooth fairy. Hellooo ?

What kind of proof? Introduce me to the guy. Let me interview him. Maybe we can go out back and he can show me how smiting works and stuff. I'd ask him to change wine into water (if you do it the other way the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms would have to get involved, and I wouldn't want to put anyone in the position of having to arrest God).
If he cared enough to torch bushes back in the day and speak to people, why blow us off and make us wonder now?
At least I got presents from "Santa."
Showing me "all of creation" is simply not proof. You're arguing circularly:
You: God created us.
Me: Prove it.
You: We're here. Yay, God!
Suppose your girlfriend tried that.
Your girlfriend: God got me pregnant. You know, just like in the Bible.
You: Prove it.
Your girlfriend: I'm knocked up. Here's the pregnancy test strip. Yay, God!
Wouldn't you want a little more? If you want me to credit God with a particular act, I need something that directly ties him to said act.
Your "investigations" simply amount to "um, the doctors can't think of any other possible reason this happened and she DID pray to the late Pope for help curing her terminal toe fungus...let's credit God for this one. Yay, God!"

They want anything that offers proof. No one has ever given actual and FACTUAL truth that God existed.
I'm not Atheist, I'm agnostic. But when you can show me anything other than a bible that some old farts wrote that has been revised so many times that It's not even credible anymore. Then maybe, just maybe then I will believe.

How hard can it be? Scientific proof that he exists. All of these people talk about "we see gods creations everyday..blah..blah..blah". That doesn't count. What we see everyday is more accurately described by the big bang and evolutionary theory. Come up with something that can be best described by the existence of God. There isn't anything. All of the examples people have provided can be better explained by science.

Atheists don't WANT proof of God's existence. They're just aware that no proof exists, and have no problem pointing it out to believers. Most believers don't want to hear that though, and seem to think they can convert the atheist speaking such blasphemies...
The funny thing is, evidence/proof of God's existence doesn't exist and never will. If it were obvious, people wouldn't need "faith". See Douglas Adams' "The Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy" for more detail.

You say atheists never offer proof of God's existence. So if I tell you there's a little red dwarf who rules our existence from his golden cloud in another time and space and you can't offer me a proof of the contrary, you're supposed to believe me?
And to answer your question, I'm not even after a proof. I just don't care.

As far as scientific evidence goes, one does not need to prrof that something does not exist. The burden of proof lies with the people who must prove that something does exist. Most people who do believe in god do not do so out of facts and proof and empirical evidence, but merely out of blind faith. (It is blind because there are no supporting facts) Many atheists place more value in facts and testable evidence rather than in faith. It is commonly known that mere belief in something does not make it so, no matter how many times you are told otherwise.

Well we can't prove God does exist, we can't prove he doesn't. Proof of his existance is easier to imagine e.g. some large miracle, apparition, angel whatever - but what could be proof that no God exists? If we scientifically say that God could not exist, religions would argue that God transcends all laws of logic, science etc., so that could be a lost cause.

Mans proof of God is more a search for validity of Self worth.
At some point it that search we look to God. Some accept the theistic proposition "In the beginning God" Some do not.
If you accept God personally or you argue with him and say no. Your fate is decided by your choice. That is freewill.

If non secular anybody is looking me to stay my existence based on what they think of their god needs and based on their analyzing of an historical e book or what their preacher says, i circulate to wish some evidence that what they are asserting is valid, or i'm no longer likely to have self assurance of their deity. human beings have invented hundreds of gods, so why ought to i think in yours? "Nature" and introduction at the instant are not evidence of a god modern. If somebody says he loves me, properly, he provides evidence of that by his movements. So if i'm ill, he can run by the save and p.c.. up some issues for me that should make me sense greater helpful. We spend time mutually. We look after another. i could have self assurance my boyfriend whilst he says he loves me by fact he has techniques of showing it. Now, i've got on no account been to London, yet there are maps and photographs and each indication that London is a real place and that i ought to circulate there if I have been so susceptible. and that i could probable return from London with pictures and thoughts, etc. i ought to circulate to very almost any city in the worldwide and ensure that it exists and then come back domicile with pictures. There are no maps of heaven or hell, much less any possible pictures. apart from, in accordance to you men, heaven or hell is a one-way cost ticket. So yeah, in case you tell me i ought to have self assurance on your god and stay my existence a undeniable way or i circulate on your hell, i want somewhat evidence which you at the instant are not blowing smoke.

Any kind of evidence that I could see or measure in some way would do it. It would help if I could repeat the measurements and come up with the same answer more than once.
It's fine by me if you don't see this issue the way I see it. The evidence I would find compelling is most likely not the same as what you find compelling.
