Owen.....I'm certainly not miserable. I'm married with 3 beautiful children so I'm not lonely and my wife seems to think I'm anything but ugly.

I didn't make personal insults to you, just your beliefs.

Why do you have to fall back on personal attacks?

It will take time for them to grow up. One day (hopefully) they will finally wake up.

OK, not really answering the question but responding to someone earlier...Scotty, way to use Pascal's Wager....belief in God has a better payoff than non-belief. I've always felt that was the saddest reason for someone to adhere to a religion, just for the potential benefit upon death. If I were a Supreme Being, such people would be beyond contempt.
Although I'm not an atheist, better to use their wager -- "Live your life and try to make the world a better place for your being in it, whether or not you believe in God. If there is no God, you have lost nothing and will be remembered fondly by those you left behind. If there is a benevolent God, he will judge you on your merits and not just on whether or not you believed in him."

You would think that if it was fiction, atheists and others against it, would have found compelling arguments against the Bible. For nearly two thousand years, Jesus and His Word have been ridiculed, attacked, burned, and all manner of vile attacks have occurred against us. Yet the faith lives on.

You think that the Bible is fiction, and that God is not real. You feel we are deluded. Yet, I KNOW that Jesus Christ is real. I have met Him, and He delivered me from the sin that I indulged in. No 12 step program could have ever done that.

I want you to know this: Those who make rash statements against Christ and His Word often find the tables turned on them. For example, Voltaire, an 18th century French philosopher, boasted that he would destroy Christianity within 50 years. He viciously began writing books against God. Ironically, 20 years after his death, the Geneva Bible Society purchased Voltaire's house and used it for printing the Bible.

WOW! I feel so sorry for you! When the day of judgement is upon us I will be praying that you had the time to change your mind. Why do people who do not believe in GOD have to attack those who do?
If for some reason I am wrong than what have I missed on? If for some reason you are wrong what have you missed out on? You missed it all.

Oh yes...it will take time for us all to grow up and realize that our existence here on earth is by complete coincidence. I would much rather spend my life worshiping a God i love and have faith in the fact that i will have everlasting life when i die. Im not losing a single thing, if I am wrong...im not missing out on a single thing.

However if your wrong...you have missed out on EVERYTHING. That in itself is a sad, sad thing. I would hate to be in your shoes at that point.

Hello Missing Link… :)

I used to believe He was imaginary..Now I know He is real..

So my Answer would be, that only way I could believe that He is fiction, would be to go back in time..to where I was when I was an Atheist..

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

Why should Christians believe YOU?
Much smarter minds than yours have come to the conclusion that there is a Supreme Being.

Why in the world would you want to rip out people's hearts by taking away their Comforter who gives them the peace, hope, joy, love, etc, that the rest of the world longs for? Mmm

A better education system coupled with a law that made it illegal to indoctrinate a child with a religion.

As long as they can still instill unjustified beliefs in their child before the child receives a proper education, religion will continue to flourish.

I'm going to take a guess here and say that you're an atheist?

It isn't going to happen to this Christian, because I know Jesus the Christ is real, and everything He is promised to be.

I once thought like you... but then I met Him. And my world was turned around!
