God set the parameters if that is what you are asking.

Before we can truly know what anything like love for instance is, we must first know all that it is not.

Love and blessings Don

Well god did create this earth, universe and infact the life we enjoy today. He gave us the brain to make rational decisions, and stand somewhere apart from our ancestors monkeys and apes. But it is really pathetic the way we humans have used it.We instead of spreading love and affection we started advocating hatred. people have lost their minds out completely. spiritually speaking this is the KALYUG going on. Forget about divorces where did terrorism originate from? If we start taking some actions ourselves no one would dare to even indulge in rape with a girl. It was certainly not god's plan. But since it is happening ,there will certainly be some or the other way to curb it. Like for instance , people just move to the decision of marriage in early ages even before they are matured-leading to divorces. The entire fault is of human tendency of dissatisfaction. We are just not contended with anything in life.
A married wants a preety girlfriend, a single boy wants a beautiful girl to marry, a rich and wealthy man wants peace and a peaceful man wants money. So the problem people are not satisfied with whatever they have and keep asking god for more and more. So to see the other side we can accept these evils of society as punishments from the almighty!

When I read the Bible, it is obviously not part of divine plan. If you are not inclined to read the Bible, I recommend the thoughts of Socrates and Pythagoras on karma and reincarnation. If I make a little soul searching which I, recommend you do also, I find more meaning to my life on earth by thinking the way Socrates and Pythagoras did. Incidentally, their line of thinking aligns with that of Jesus. Isaac Newton wrote about this: "In every action there is an equal but opposite reaction." The injustice and misfortune that I face now is just the result of my wrong choices before. Therefore, they are not God's will or plan but mine. Everyday is an opportunity to repay my debt and to collect or forgive my neighbor's debt to me. Amen.

Consider this answer from the Gospel of John chapter one verses 9-13, "The real light which shines on everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world came into existence through him. Yet the world didn't recognize him. He went to his own people, and his own people didn't accept him. vs 12, "However, he gave the right to become God's children to everyone who believed in him. " vs. 13, "These people didn't become God's children in a physical way---from a human impulse or from a husband's desire to have a child. They were born from God."
That is from the Holy Bible. So, you are special!!! You're not here by mistake, but with God's permission. Divorce and cancers are both horrible things and neither of them please God. However, both are present with His permission. The Lord does not desire or smile upon divorce, but making mistakes in our choices belong to us as individuals and couples. Ask God, believing, to help you make the choice of a mate His choice also. God will help you choose if you trust Him. God will assist His children in these and other diverse arrangements, if we ask him sincerely, and trust Him to help you. Rape? Violence? These are facts of life. They are hated by God. There is a final judgment, and those who commit these acts may possibly get away with it in this life, however, God, who is fair and knows everything we have done, will deal severely with those who commit such acts, payday someday, is a fact, God promised and He never lies. God bless you. See you in Church. Ephesians 2:8,9. Romans 10:9,10. Scriptures you can bet your life on, and the next life also. Your friend, Alexiam.

Yes. Everything that happens to us is part of God's plan. It may be brutal to us. Hurtful to us. But it is still part of the plan. One can not know how they will be affected by the things that happen in their life, and how it will change their views on issues. They can not know how they will change other people. Everything is part of the plan.

I have cancer and still believe that for whatever reason my purpose is TO LIVE WITH FAITH don't be a hater- unless it's for a reason. even when my husband left me with an 8 month old son, a 3 year old son, and a 6 year old daughter, I PRAYED to HIM and he sent me a BETTER MATE- one HE chose- one who would DO THE JOB. Don't blame GOD blame yourself. WHAT DIDN"T KILL ME< MADE ME A STRONGER WOMAN AND A BETTER PERSON. I recently had a chance to thank my sister for enabling me to find the window that GOD opened when she closed the door. (She thanked him that he was able to keep me from killing her since my violence could easily have made me someones cellmate... Maybe he knew more than I...

I believe that it's all happening because we're not doing our jobs as people. No, you can't prevent cancer or anything, but nobody is proving that they're deserving of not having theses thigs happen. Everybody is weak, so God gives us these things to toughen us up.

When man rejected God and turned to sin. Man brought these terrible thing into the world.. Man bowed to evil and took it as his king and his god. Many men still, though Jesus came and died to free of of the bondage of sin, still turn to it and still reject the Way of God... Jim
