I know it's an old question, but I'm having trouble finding the answer. A lot of websites claim that there is evidence, but don't go into what it is - and these websites either dont have a contact link or don't get back to me. What is the evidence? I'm dying to know! Why the secrecy?
Please refrain from quoting the bible to me, Ive already read it. I'm looking for evidence that the bible is true or not.
Thanks for your help peeps! Bye.

Let's assume you told me a horrible lie. A horrible, horrible lie which has hurt me very, very much. It was such a horrible lie that I even cried. Real tears.

Now, who should forgive you? Jesus or me?

It's sad that Jehovah Witnesses look down on having friends that are not JW. I wouldn't like to be told who i can be friends with, no way, never.

It's also sad to see kids of JW not able to play with other children who are not JW. Let kids be kids, let them play, remember they are only kids.

It's even more dissappointing that a family remember is thinking about removing her kids from school so they wont be around other non JW kids. That's taking away from the childhood, what happens with the kid decides not to become a JW, he or she never had a true childhood, sad, sad, sad..

How can people accept the fact that Jevohah Witnesses are promoting a form of segregation?

There are many similarities between Greco-Roman Mythology and Nordic Mythology. The Greeks had a concept of Katabasis, a spiritually transformative journey to the underworld, the myth of Orpheus being the prime example.

Is there an anology to this in your beliefs? What is it called?

"There is much that cannot be known by thinking or reasoning. There are other ways of knowing and there are mysteries that cannot be grasped intellectually. Healing often comes through opening to other ways of knowing, to the mystery of life, and to not knowing. In opening to both knowing and not knowing, you come face to face with the wonder of life and its boundless possibilities."

Does your kid send himself to his room when he disobeys or do you send him? Do bank robbers choose to go to prison or are they sent? They don't choose, the jury does. The point is that God determines the punishment. God could send nonbelievers to time-out instead of Hell. HE CHOOSES where you go, not you. Good thing he doesn't exist.

1--do you follow any of the teachings of Christ???
2--do you blame all your faults on being human and that God will forgive you because he loves you???

i hate when ppl treat others badly...go ask God for forgiveness...then go right back to treating others badly

that's not cool. Why ask for forgiveness if you don't plan on being better and reforming your actions.

Stop taking everything so personally... like, "what are you trying to say, what are saying.. just because you're not Christian... yada yada yada!!!" geeeeeze!

Let your guards down... I don't judge you.... I don't degrade you... I dont talk down on you or disrespect your beliefs... get over it!

Many of you are ALWAYS on guard and you take the questions I ask out of context too many times. Stick to the basis of the question!!! Let's aviod the nonsence. Thanks!

He started with angels and that didn't work out as planned.

Then he moved on to humans, and I don't think that worked out quite how he expected.

Do you think maybe he then moved on to another planet or some other form of being? What type of being? Is that why he's largely absent?

You don't have to believe in God to play along here.

where to begin; My family seems to have been having this demonic "influence" which i suspect was passed from my grandpa. He was 100% opressed by a demon. He was a very weak man who was an alchoholic and was probably open to such a thing. My dad was his oldest son of 9 children. My dad was able to rise above his horrifying childhood and became a police officer, married my mother, and became a christian. They had 4 kids (i am the oldest). My grandpa died when i was 16, on my brother's 10th birthday. Sometime after the death, my brother changed and became really quite bad ( cannot even say). Around the same time, my sister (then 15) experienced psych. troubles that have never reached an end (cutting, anorexia, bulimia). I was unnaffected, but i moved out of that crazy house when i was in high school.
I since got married and got preggo. Very close to my due date, my dad killed himself, it seemed he had finally succumbed to....something.
Since his suicide....hold on, no more room.....

I mean, it seems to me that the credibility of all of the worlds religions rely on the gullibility of common people.

Is there a religion that doesn't have talking animals, hallucination based revelations, channeled spirits, incarnated supernatural beings, magic tricks, powerful beings in the volcano/mountain/sky/mother ship who spoke only to a select few?

It's all such obvious nonsense that only a simpleton could fall for it.

Am I forgetting some religion which isn't based on this cartoonish nonsense?

A guy I know, he was raised Muslim all his life. He was a minister in the mosque and a very intelligent man. His grandmother was the only Christian in his family.

At age 30 he was walking down an ailey in New York City. A man came up from behind him, stole his wallet and threw him to the ground, with a gun aiming at his head.

The guy, again was Muslim, 30 years, a minister, for 10 years.

As he lied on the ground, he said that all he could think to call was the name of Jesus Christ.

He was lying on the ground with a gun to his head and he said Jesus is you will save my life, I will give it to you.

The robber tried to fire the gun, and the gun was out of bullets. An old man saw this happening and yelled for the robber to stop. Before bashing the victim in the head with the gun, the robber ran away.

This man is now a minister for Jesus Christ. Him telling me his testimony has really touched me. I wanted to share with you!

Why does the Church people hide us from the truth? Can they be more transparent, share to the world what they are keeping underneath those walls of unending catacombs beneath the Vatican City.

Does the idea that others have found peace, positive direction, and other good things WITHOUT following a religion and/or believing in God bother you? Why or why not?
Be honest cause I know some of you I have heard you complain, and try to convince us God is real.

The divorce rate is over 50%...this has nothing to do with gay people...so, isn't the institution of marriage already ruined?

Should we enact laws to make it more difficult for people to receive a divorce?

Should we require, yes require, that people take classes before entering into the institution of marriage...

Is it right to be able to get married on a whim in Las Vegas or wherever?

Where is the Godliness in this?
