With one fiance opposed to two?
As to your question- I believe that most Christians say no, but the bible is open to interpretation.
just my two cents.

It depends on who you ask. Some will say that you should wait until the actual wedding night because sex outside of marriage is fornication and a sin. Others will tell you that once you have had sex with someone, you are married in the eyes of God, so it's okay to have sex with the person you know are going to marry; but only if both of you are 100% sure that you want to spend the rest of your lives together. I tend to agree with the latter.

How many of you who are answering 'no' (and are married) actually waited until your wedding night?
Oh and if you're a Christian you also have to be honest.
To the question- I agree with that hoop guy- Bible's open to interpretation. People change the rules all the time. Who's still sacrificing animals or not wearing cotton?

"Christian" like any word is defined by the user, and what rules you have that define you as such. The answer you seek is in your heart, and you already know what it is, since you are the one that makes the rules for you to qualify you as a christian. you and your mate decide what is "allowed", and need to be at peace with that, no one can do that for you. I suspect you are looking for permission, but you know your definition best. dont let yourself be controled by guilt or other peoples rules.

why are u letting a stupid book that has been changed thruout history control your life.....make your own decisions not some disgusting book that is all stories from the past. There are over 100 different religions with the same idea of a person dying on a cross.

The question that must really be asked is this:
What constitutes marriage? Is it a piece of paper? Is it the ceremony? Is it the license?
I still think it's wrong as a Christian....but consider those questions....

Is the wedding soon? You'd better get to work, what if she is terrible in bed? Now that would be a long stint in Purgatory, wouldn't it.

Sex should be confined to the marriage bed--after a couple is joined as one before God and men (spirtually and legally by the laws of the country they live in).

No. Christian rules don't change as secular customs evolve and from the Christian point of view this is wrong.
