I thought we were supposed to be like Jesus and if Jesus celebrated the Jewish holidays, why don't we? I mean if it was good enough for Him, why aren't we doing it too? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I've always wondered.

I'm a Gnostic Christian and it bothers me when other Christians of different religions tell me I'm wrong for believing the "way" i do. Have you ever been told by another Christian that your specific Christian beliefs or your specific Christian religion are wrong? How did this make you feel? What would you offer as a solution to end discrimination among Christians?

non-religious people here on these boards? We people who follow this or that religion are expected to study that religion and discuss it with others of that faith. That's normal. But ..... why do we see SO many people on these boards that say they are not believers in religion still talking about this or that religion?

Why do they waste their time ...... if they don't believe?

I'm just clearing out old questions from my high school days. That one has been bouncing 'round for over 35 years and it feels good to get rid of it. Thanks.

Sometimes we get a new surge of people on R&S, but they just ask the same questions everyone else asks. You know the ones that drive us all crazy because they've been asked so many times.

So my question is, if we remain on topic, have we asked all the questions that could possibley be asked in R&S? It sure seems like it. I don't know how many times I've seen the same question asked by a new person, and while I understand it's important to them - I'm just tired of answering it. Do I need a R&S break, or does everyone else feel the same way?

I am curious. . .where do your spiritual beliefs/non-beliefs come from. Have you just stuck to how you were raised? Did you search for answers for yourself? Do you believe as your family does? Are your beliefs totally different from your parents and do they accept you anyway?
