In examining Scripture, two facts become clear: First, that God is a Spirit, and does not possess human characteristics or limitations; second, that all the evidence contained in Scripture agrees that God revealed Himself to mankind in a male form. He is known as a He. As a King. God is Spirit. I believe He doesn't have a Gender but has qualities that are both male and female. After all, we are made in His image.

"Gender" is a property of some physical organisms, like humans. God is the creator of organisms and matter, so by definition he/she would not have gender. However, if he/she wanted to communicate with us and have us refer to him/her, then he/she certainly has the right to suggest we use the pronoun of his/her choice. Using "it" seems a bit impersonal. Not sure why some people would think using "She" is any less offensive than using "He," though.

Sexual reproduction is the purpose of gender. If God has a gender it would mean god procreates sexually.
Does God procreate sexually?
