David, Are you trying to tell me that eternity past makes sense to you. Time exists only because matter exists. Matter exists only because there was no eternity past for matter.
If the big bang works for you, then you need to come up with another theory that explains the nature of things other than the laws of thermodynamics. They support creation.

I am a Christian. I am not saying that the world is 6000 years old or not, as it does not matter. Some people interpret the Bible to say that the world is 6000 years old. Others do not. I do not believe there is any thing in the Bible that directly states this.

Stupid? Evolution is what sounds stupid. In fact it takes more faith to believe in evolution than the Bible.
It makes more sense to believe that the world can be no older than 10,000 years than millions or billions of years old.

The time was measured differently many years ago when the Bible was written. A year was something like a season. Some things just cannot be explained to some people. "I can" is more important than IQ .With Jesus I can! Have a blessed day!Hey! who gave me the thumbs down? Mean!

If you say that the world is 6,000 years old when actually it's 4.6 billion years old, it's the equivalent of saying that the distance between New York and San Francisco is 22 feet.
