5He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."

6He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

Yes,Jan NIV.....I looked at the Companion and saw two differences most notable, Com. uses "Whoremonger" instead of Sexually Immoral. Would the broader sexually immoral void this text?

To anyone who continues to think this is make believe; the fire and brimstone ( fiery lake of burning sulfur ) will make you believe if you continue to doubt it.

The only thing you have to do is find out if Jesus is alive right now. You find him, then you know the lake of fire is real; you continue on your present course, you still find out the lake is real - only this time there is no remedy. Just give Jesus honest try, you won't be disappointed.

Hi, to answer your question, nope, not in
danger here, thanks for asking.
Whatever Bible you are using, you should scrap and get a Companion Bible; you will be far better off as far as translation goes -
what is that, an "NIV"??
