My families atheist, yet I still give the kids a basket and gifts. I really don't know why I do it. At some point, I must have noticed others were doing this and wanting to be part of the crowd, I followed suit. So much for individuality.

Because it's a nice thing to do no matter what the holiday. But just because some Christians give gifts to one another on Easter doesn't mean they don't believe that Jesus is Lord and Savior. The action of giving gifts is inconsequential to our faith.

I don't buy gifts like at Christmas. I give small Easter baskets to my close friends with a couple of colored eggs and some chocolate. Most give these things to children, but I give to adults. We all love it and it is fun. We get together and dye eggs on Saturday too.
