Keep in mind, Jesus is part of the Trinity. Therefore at the cross, he took on ALL sins. Even if you dont believe in Him, Even if you don't accept it. Even if you were not born until 2007. He died for you.
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

On a scale of 1-10? About 10,000. I am pitiful, disgusting, vile, horrible without Christ.

1=not at all humble (the equivilant of an atheist)
10= more humble than Christ was when he died for us
I'm a 4, but need to move toward something like a 7. I don't take the time to REALLY ponder what Christ did for me. I should, I know that. On those rare occasions when I have pondered what you're asking, I've been somewhere around 4 or 5.

You make an assumption that is flawed. Jesus and I never met, so he could not have died for my mistakes. Also, I always try to correct my mistakes instead of passing that burden on to others. Maybe you should try doing that instead of asking for forgiveness. Actions speak louder than words. As for your scale, assuming 10 is the most humble, I'd rank a 0. I don't believe in god, and I don't believe Jesus died for me. I believe he died because he was crucified.

Scale of 1 to 10 ? answer Zero. He died on the cross for the mistake that he made. In those days, and at that time, it was a capital offence to down play the emperor. Jesus went around shooting off his big yapper that he had powers greater than the emperor - - - - - he didn't.
The emperor Tiberius had him executed according to Roman law. Jesus' powers were zilch.
He sure didn't die for me. He was long gone before I was even born. I mean l---o---n---g gone.

It was a genuinely brutal form of punishment, I really don't muse on it very often (I'm not Mel Gibson). I think he did not die for me. He didn't know me or the degree of evil I am capable of.
Oh, wait, I owe an answer. I think zero. Not because I'm not humble, it's just that that act doesn't affect my background level of humility.

I could care less. DO you know how many people in the middle east in that time frame were crucified? I doubt that any of them were to cover my sins! Get real!

10... I mean think about it. Whether you wanted him to or not, He did it. And for someone to lay down their life for you... man that is humbling.

Not at all. He was just a man, even though some say the son of the imaginary man.
