What do you think about when ppl blame all the bad things in their life to God????? Is this fair to blame God for the bad things in our life???? Some ppl said if you thank God for the good things in your life, then why not blame him for the bad??? For me I think ppl that think like that just want to find someone else to blame things on, but don't wanna look at themself. God is not for us to blame every things on. We should be thankful in every second in our life that he have gave it to us and everythings!!! Reason I asked this it's cause one of my friend just love to blame God for their uphappy life, and I don't know what to say back to him.. what should we tell the ppl that think like this???? It's sad....

According to old testament God is one but the latter testament preaches trinity. The former prohibits usury, working on sabbath, eating some animals etc but jesus allowed all of them. The former says that messiah will appear when we move away from our sins and will be of human origin. But the latter says that the messiah has already arrived,is divine in origin and will take away our sins if we accept him as our saviour. The former says that any gentile can be saved if he/she follows just 7 laws of Noah but jesus says that without accepting him nobody can be saved!Judaism considers marriage to be compulsory but christianity considers celibacy to be preferable. Now friends which bible should we believe and why?

What is a Purity Ball?
The Father Daughter Purity Ball is a memorable ceremony for fathers to sign commitments to be responsible men of integrity in all areas of purity. The commitment also includes their vow to protect their daughters in their choices for purity. The daughters silently commit to live pure lives before God through the symbol of laying down a white rose at the cross. Because we cherish our daughters as regal princesses—for 1 Peter 3:4 says they are “precious in the sight of God”—we want to treat them as royalty.

"As all the dads stood to read the covenent over their daughters, I felt the power of those words sink right into my heart. My father pledged to protect me and promised to lead a life of integrity and purity for me. He signed his name and I signed as a witness to his words. And as he escorted me to the dance floor I felt empowered by his promise to spend the rest of his life warring for my heart through his life of purity. And I knew my life would never be the same..."

their is a main difference between christans and the rest of you un-holy or whatever god you follows, their lack and understand of the content's in the bible which mean you cannot grasp the full meaning of the words!!! Try to throw history and other "man" contributed event's into the lords word. Ask stupid question about why the bible is a bunch of nothing and confusion!! when your pathetic minds only cannot grasp the greater purpose.... a man born of this world come in and enter whom offer's those who are willing a chance for eternal life and happiness and died for your sin....call me a hypocrit but on a typical note is it at all that move's you from the bible is "your own human satifications and worldly grieve's believe or disbelief through human literature of other hypocritcal resources!!

My cousin is a missionary in Mexico. Her mission organization in not considered a non-profit down there, but she would like to open a non-profit bank account here in the U.S. so that Americans can contribute to her cause. Can she do that? If so, are there only certain banks that will allow it? What does she need to do in order to open an account for her organization here in the U.S.? (http://www.misiondepaz.org/) Yes, that's a link for the organization. Thanks in advance for all of your help!!!

If you are Catholic or not Catholic, I am very interested to know. Many people have misconcpetions on what the Catholic Church teaches about sex. The Chruch actually believes that sex is one of the greatest and most incredible things a man and woman can do together to express their love for eachother. The fact that the chruch is against contraception simply is supporting the fact that Catholics are against destroying human life. (Please no ranting, just simple thoughts and opinions to better knowledge of everyone.)

(yeah, yeah, I know, It's Pascal's wager, sorry for this question)

Rev 20 talks about "White Throne Judgement", which in my views simply means this:

**When you accept Jesus into your heart, you win a ticket to Heaven, no matter what. It's a free ticket.

**When you don't accept Jesus, you'll go to the "White Throne Judgement" and God will judge you on your works, your deeds.

This actually means that all that horrible Christian talk about 'believe or end up in Hell' is complete nonsense. The people saying that should try and read their own book a little better.

If there is a god, then the only two choices for a moral atheist are acceptance by a moral god or refusal by an immoral god.

Nobody wants to spend eternity with an immoral god, right? And if we are to be judged anyway, what better way than on our deeds?

I simply asked, per a ethics paper at my Christian College, a hypothetical question about God in another post of mine, here, and my Christian brothers and sisters went NUTS!

All they said was, "I cannot even think this" or "That's like asking me to not believe in water, etc..."

Well, DUH!

What's wrong with asking someone to imagine what life would be like if suddenly the water disappeared?

Now, THAT IS NOT THE QUESTION- THAT IS AN EXAMPLE THE QUESTION IS BELOW:

Nothing.... All it takes is for you to think:
"OK, no water... The plants would all die, the world would smell like rotting fish, people would die..."

But when it came to my question:
"How would we Christians respond to this?"

My Christian friends refused to even think about it or answer it!! What's going on, here???

THE QUESTION WAS HERE:

when an atheist asks a question? If I ask a question about the existence of God, I do not want a quotation from the bible, probably because I DON'T BELIEVE IN IT?!?!? What part of that don't you people understand?

Can anyone recommend a reiki master in dallas?
I've found one person I like - I wasn't sure I believe in it until he sneezed when his hands were on the small of my back and the top of my head nearly came off, leaving me seeing stars for a good 5 minutes! He is very caring and gentle and soothing. I had some powerful visions, though, that he didn't seem able/willing to help me explore, and they were remarkably different at each chakra, which would seem to me to be important and meaningful. I'd like to be able to explore what the visions I have mean, so perhaps this is not the Reiki master for me - or perhaps he is. Anyone?
