Posted this as a response; but I thought this would be better:
1. If God is omniscient then he knows all since that entails knowledge without limits. In creating earth he foresaw everything that would occur. He created the world anyway
He knew that SOME of us would be believers and SOME of us would reject him. He knew the end. But he created us anyway. So....WHY did he create 'man'--if he was going to save some and damn others? Free will...and all-knowing being? Our choices are free, yes-- but they are 'known'...
I'm looking at the BIG PICTURE, here and it doesn't make sense. How can you even think 'free will' really matters in the grand scheme of things?
2. If this being created us knowing he was going to damn some how could this being be considered omnibenevolent?

I am Agnostic. I'm not attacking. Just an Innocent Question. Was always taught God=omnibenevolent, omniscient, omnipotent. But--I see a conflict, here.

>>Please NO scriptures. NO appeals to faith. Just..LOGIC.<<

This is really in reference to my previous question:
"Why do some Christians think that it's acceptable to have pre-marital sex?"

I got a lot of answers saying, "their just human," or "their still regular people with needs"

This is in no offense to anyone, I just want to hear some more opinions.

Theist - belief in a god or gods.
Atheist - absence of belief in a god or gods.

When you were a baby did you HAVE belief or absence of belief?

(And don't bring up agnosticism or gnosticism - they are PARTS of theism and atheism; not separate terms and positions.)

Also... one can have belief in a god but believe the god to not interefere with the world - basically that it is nature that is God. This is the deistic version of theism.

This is God's love for you. We are all his children. He gives all of us Grace. It is Satan that takes this away from you. Please don't let Satan win anymore. I bring up my daughter to know right from wrong. I know one day she will go from me and it is with the greatest Love I mold her into who she will become, as God molded us. I do not let Satan into her heart. People can do this. Just shut out your mind to sin & evil, let go and let God. Satan steals the hearts of our children because we are lazy with our children, mothers leave to go to work, parents get divorced. There is no REASON for this. Tell your children that God will save them if they just believe in Him. There will be no divorce, no mothers leaving, a proper family always. Children will learn not to fear abandonment and love evil when they are taught the way of the Lord.

A co-worker thought she may have read or heard of a scripture in the Bible that read that your boss is not really your "boss". I think she means as in a higher being being in charge. I'm not sure what her point is, but I have tried researching and am not coming up with anything.
Any ideas? Greatly appreciate it.

As an atheist, would you say that your non-belief in God is the basis for your atheism, and that distaste for religion follows from that?
(I understand that not all atheists hate religion, so this is primarily directed at those who reject religion in addition to non-belief)
Or would you say that it was non-acceptance/ disagreement with religion which came first, and that non-belief in God followed from that?

Naturally, I presume that you're intelligent and have possibly studied philosophy, science, theology, myths, etc.
I'm not particularly concerned with those things, as I have studied each quite extensively myself. If discussing those helps provide a context for your answer though, fine. However, I'm mostly interested in whether the connection between rejecting God and rejecting religion is a necessary connection.

looking forward to some insightful responses!

I have seen on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, a show that tells the stories miracles that have happened in a very bad situation for Israeli soldiers outnumbered by their Muslim enemies when suddenly an angel (or Father Abraham etc) appears (or a light etc.) and scares the Muslim soldiers until they run away. Did these things really happen? Israel God's chosen people?

1 John2:15-17
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world- the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does--comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
Believe or not??

Well, my parents were never religious, they're atheist. Anyways, I am marrying a guy who is a strong catholic and I've alwyays wanted to go to church anyway, so can I still go. I mean, is it too late to become religious? It's not like I've committed any major sins, I've never stolen, I rarely lie and hate cheaters and cheating, so can I go or is it too late for me to go. The last time I went to church it was for only a few minutes at a funeral, and that was over twelve years ago.

God is the Provider. He loves YOU. He understands that belieiving is very difficult, because He made us human and sometimes humans don't believe in that which they cannot see. But God is a Spirit. He cannot be seen. He sent to us in Jesus HImself in human form.

I pray for ALL of you. God doesn't want to send ANYONE to Hell. It is humans who choose to send themselves to Hell by selfishly denying the Creator. God knew you before anyone else, He made you. Once you know this in your mind and in your heart, you will be saved. I cannot wait to see you then in Heaven.
Love & Peace in Christ.

Glory Is His Name.
