They cannot handle the truth that Hitler was a product of their bible-cult.

They claim "oh, his actions betray his real persona, and he obviously was not a christian."

Yet, many of these same people couldn't run fast enough to the polls to vote for G. Dumbya Bush for President, their christian icon and killer of tens of thousands of people... thousands of our own soldiers, too.

Isn't the hypocrisy unbearable? Flip flop, flip flop!!

Deny one killer/liar was a christian, yet make another killer/liar your christian icon! Use the bible to justify that nonsense somehow -- one is "murder" and one is "killing" --- one is OK, the other isn't....

What nonsense, huh?

If every action has a reaction, and if we get the results of our actions, as taught in the bible in the teaching of the man who sewed his seeds on fertile land and the man who sewed his seeds on barren land, is that karma and is Newton's law on cause and effect the same as karma?

First of all, I'm not talking about ALL Atheists.

As for those who do have a desire to convert others:
Where did they get this desire? Is it possible that it actually comes from a Christian culture or upbringing? Christians often feel a strong desire to spread what they consider to be the only acceptable view of reality.

If someone instead became an Atheist from a non-proselytizing background, would they have the same zeal?

I apologize for any generalizations. I realize this doesn't apply to everyone.

Here is a previous question I asked. ANd look at the last answer, given by somebody very arrogant. For a woman, you would think she'd be happy her rapist would be put to death. Why are people like her so bigoted? Is there some sort of gene that blocks out common sense or makes some people more prone to racism than others?

I've been coming here since about February or so of 2006. It seems there used to be a lot more Christians here than there are now. Is it just the time of day that I'm coming on? Or what?

Peace Lover and the question of "Carpet inside the house is better than a woman who can get pregnant".. I saw the Arabic text you posted. The Hadith is really there.. and it's valid as I checked and researched for all the speakers of it. Haseer حصير doesn't mean carpet in Arabic.. it is the non understandable sound of a baby.. bal agh mummmm, etc...

Translation of this Arabic Hadith: "A baby's noise in the house is better than silence"... Though our prophet praised pregnancy and kids.. Did you know that? Have a nice day...

Unlike Christmas, it has always been known what day the Last Supper took place. It is simple to ascertain, as the Jews used the Lunar Calendar. The Jewish Passover, which is when the Last Supper took place, begins at sun set on the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox. A second question, what do so many of today's churches have against following the instructions of Christ to observe the day in Memorial?

The Quran is thee only religious book that has no errors & that has never been changed. It has been scientifically proven that the Quran has not been changed, it is the same book it was 1400 years ago.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) is rated No:1 in the top most influential man in the world.

He is considered by non-muslims who have researched his life & written biographies of him, They consider him one of the worlds most greatest man to have walked this earth.

The Quran is the only book that does not have a Author, It was brought down By God, Many say Muhammad (saw) wrote the Quran, he couldnt have wrote it because he was illiterate.

Islam is thee only religion that does not commercialize its faith , you donot see adverts enticing people to come to the mosque, you pray out of your own

Islam does not demand that people give charity to the mosque , YOu dont see Muslims taking off thier jewlery & putting it in the collection box, Only if you can afford to then you may

As we know the original texts of the bible were arabic and hence had little or no punctuation.
When people translated things then the insertion of Commas in particular can have dramatic effects.

For Instance Jehovahs witnesses believe that when you die you are dead until you are raised up again on judgement day.
This seems to go against Christ's words to the thief on the cross," truely I say to you COMMA today we will walk together in paradise" which tends to indicate that Jesus felt they were both going to carry on existing albiet in Paradise, today.

In the Jehovahs witnesses Bible the comma is placed one word later.
" truely I say to you today COMMA we will walk together in paradise"

The Witnesses will say that Jesus was saying " Im telling you today, that (one day in the future) we will walk together in paradise."

Hence the outcome is that the effect of placing one Comma before or after a word is dramatic paving the way for immediate afterlife or not.

Daft innit?

If you know what animal that you most agree or think of as the most significant in your life, what would it be, or what is it , if you know already?

For me, I found that the horse is my totem animal...mainly...because the animal signifies Love, Travel, and Freedom...which is very true for me now!
I also love the cat, buffalo, bear and others...but, the horse is definitely without any doubts, my main totem animal!

If you don't know...google it...and see what animals or birds are closest to how you are and or what animal you closely relate to....It's just a fun thing to do!

I tried really hard for a long time to follow the bible, and I just can't believe anything in it. Since I don't believe in the Christian god, my becoming a Christian just to save my butt from the hellfire Christians preach to me about would just further condemn me, right? So what is wrong with following my heart before I get sent there?
This is a question for the religious.
