WOW!!!
A lot of people here are wrong!
I thought some muslims would know much better. It was not Khadija, and A'isha was his second wife.
The Name Islam is a universal meaning. Islam is not named after a tribe of peole or an indidvidual, As Judaism is named after the tribe of Judah, Christianity after Christ, and Buddhism after Buddha. Islam is not a name chose by human beings; it was divinely communicated from God. Islam is a global fauth, not of east or west. Islam is a complete way of life, implyig a total submissin to god. One who surrenders his or her will to God, VOLUNTARILY, is called muslim. It wasw not Muhammad (PBUH) but ADAM (PBUH) who first brought Islam to humanity. Then, each prophet and messenger(PBUT) came to exhort the people to a clear understanding of God's commandments. They offered teachings revelant to that time, untill God chose the final prophet, Muhammad(PBUH), to come with the last testament refrered to as the Qur'an.
As for you answer, it's Eve.
But the way you asked seemed like who was the first to accept or be the first muslim women. first would be Eve, but to accept, it would be the first wife of Abraham, Sarah or the second wife of Abraham Hajar. I don't know wether they were or not BUt here are sources you can check out.

Praise be to Allah.
Not only the first women but the first PERSON (i.e. in both men and women) who accepted the religion of Islam was a woman. She's ofcourse The Mother of the Believers Khadeejah bint Khwayled (May Allah be pleased with her).
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) drew four lines on the ground, then he said, “Do you know what this is?” We said, “Allaah and His Messenger know best.” The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The best of the women of Paradise are Khadeejah bint Khuwaylid, Faatimah bint Muhammad, Aasiyah bint Mazaahim the wife of Pharaoh, and Maryam bint ‘Imraan – may Allaah be pleased with them.”
(Narrated by Ahmad, 2663. Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 1135)
She was really a great person, May Allah be pleased with her.

I would say the first wife of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) as all religions based on the monotheist beliefs of Prophet Ibrahim were called Islam in their due time of effect.
like the teaching of Mosses (PBUH) during and after Moses (PBUH) till Eesa (PBUH - Jesus) and the teachings of Jesus (PBUH) till the revelations to the last Phrophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Islam as a word means "Submission" and the meaning of Islam as a religion is "Submission to One Allah (God)". In the chain of Divine religions with every new messenger came new guidelines related to the maturity of human race and society and factors that Allah (God) better understands. Those that submitted remained muslims those that opposed; did not submitt and thus broke their owth with thier religion of submission.
Islam did not start from Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), he was actually the last messenger in a chain of messenger sent by Allah (God). The one and only. The one common Lord amongst all the Ibrahimic religions. Thus the first muslim female is one during the time of Ibrahim.

The first woman to follow the religion of Islam was Khadijah ul-Kubra'. Every muslim knows who she was and what a role-model she was and continues to be. We also know that she was according to the Prophet(saw), one of the four greatest women from among the whole earth.
Khadijah was born in the year 555 C.E. (christian era). Her parents were Khuwailid and Fatimah bint Zaidah. By the time she reached the age of forty she had attained quite a reputation for herself. She was known as a wealthy, noble, fine-natured business woman

The first woman to convert was his wife Khadija, the first child his first cousin Ali, whom he had adopted, and the first servant was his servant Zayd, a former slave. His old friend Abu Bakr was the first adult free male to convert. Many years later the Prophet said of him: ‘I have never called anyone to Islam who was not at first filled with doubt, questions and contradictions, with the exception of Abu Bakr.’
