1 John2:15-17
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world- the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does--comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
Believe or not??

100% yes. The Bible says that "every good and perfect gift come from Him." So any carnality coming from man's sinful nature (lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and the pride of life) is not the love of the Father.

1st Corinthians 13

"Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud it is not rude, selfish or easily angered. it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres. Love never fails."

That's the Love of the Father. And the world is the complete opposite; therefore, it would make sense that the Love of the Father would not be in you, if you have a sinful nature.

Praise Him.

Nope. I think its a load of crap and quoting the bible isn't going to help that matter because the bible was written by a bunch of sheepherders that believed the earth was flat and has more fantasy in it than a Piers Anthony novel.

Yes, I believe so. People having their eyes on worldly things is contributing to the demise of humanity. Keeping our eyes on Spiritual things is extremely difficult, which is why we stray.

Next to this wisdom, no earthly "wisdom" can stand.

"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, the intelligence of the intelligent, I will frustrate." -GOD
