When one lives by the golden rule ( deny thy self pleasure) they tend to get angry easy if they think someone else might be having fun in life! ; )

>> Interesting question because I have wondered so many times why there are so many angry non-Christians on this site that are trying to make Christians "see the light" (no pun intended) if you will.
As far as trying to convert you, many feel that is the calling of any Christian. A lot of Christians don't realize that we are to only plant the seed as opposed to trying to cram it down someones throat. Whatever the case, they believe they are doing to the right thing by you do not mean you any harm.

When you say I am being mean to you, tell me what did I do that was so mean? And although I would like to convert you, I would not waste the time and effort on anyone so obstinate to refuse to hear. And what made you think I am angry? I mean if you want to see mean and angry, just read Mel below.

I'm not angry, but Christians are supposed to try to convert people. Just keep in mind we are doing this out of love, not any other reason.

I think some Christians get angry by all the dumb questions on here. It doesn't give anyone the right to be cruel. I also think that those who act the way they do, need to re-evaluate their beliefs.
p.s. I'm a Christian.

I don't see meanness coming from the Christians to the Atheist here. It is by far the other way around!

I've found that MANY religions are out to spread the word and convert people, not just Christians. It just part of religion to try to force people into believing. My mom's Buddhist, and her religion has the same goals ..
