All sins and evil and human wickedness are forgivable to a christian...as long as they were commited by christians.
Its a nice double standard, I know, but it helps them cope by making them feel superior.

The point of being a Christian is to work on getting closer and closer to the ideal of Christlike behavior. You can always be forgiven, but that's not an excuse to behave however you want. It's more like you want to be good because you want to be more like Christ. So the better you behave the more you fit to that ideal.
That doesn't mean sometimes Christians don't struggle with the same temptations as everyone else, but after a lifetime of prayer and disciplining themselves, they try to have those slip ups be less and less frequent. Although occaisionally, sins still happen, even Mother Teresa sinned. (Hard to tell, tho'!)
I will admit that some Christians provide better examples than others. I've gone to church since I was born and if you saw me driving down the freeway you'd never guess it because I cuss like a sailor. However, I get better and better at not doing that the more I meditate and pray about it. It's a very gradual transition of the spirit.
I hope that helps!

True Christianity and pre-marital sex do NOT go together. Anyone who says so is a hypocrite. I myself am guilty as charged...however I never condoned it nor called it Godly. I am imperfect and I hope that God can really forgive. I believe that God forgives us many times for sins that we should have never committed.
I do know girls that sleep around a lot and mostly with guys they meet at church. I think they are just treating it like a social event rather than a sacred place of worship.
I think it's unfortunate that the misconception is out there that pre-marital sex is anything good. But, sex and companionship are such enticing things that we convince ourselves of lies we want to believe sometimes...or just look the other way. It's truly a painful existence.
So to answer your question, It is never OK to make mistake after mistake. But, luckily God is merciful. And until we can overcome our weaknesses, he can forgive a sincere, repentant heart.

All people sin, the difference between believers and non-believers is , Christians believe that they are in-Christ and that with true repentence from mistakes they will grow to be more Christ-like. If a person continues to make the same mistake over and over again, they are really turning away from God . The only reason we know something is a mistake in the first place is by the Universal Truths that God is and always will be our creator.

" So just because Christians are still "human" and "regular people" it's okay to make mistake after mistake."
This statement is between you and God. What other people think does not matter.I will say this, if a Christian thinks this way, he is probably not a true Christian. A true Christian is not a part time belief.

We are all human and we make mistakes. That's true. But to repent of your sins means to turn away from them, not to repeat them. If you don't, then it's no longer a mistake. It's deliberate. You are supposed to learn and grow from the mistakes you make. Pre-marital sex is a sin according to God.
May God Bless you.

Being a Christian does not make you perfect. The scriptures teach us that we "all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God," and that "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
That is why Christians are commanded to repent, which also includes not repeating the sin, that they can obtain forgiveness and be worthy to enter into the presence of the Lord.

It's not okay or acceptable. Those who choose to lead immoral lives can claim to be Christian, but they aren't following God's laws. Can people make a mistake in a moment of weakness? Yes. Can they do it repeatedly and maintain God's favor? No.

Do you think Christians claim to be perfect? Or are you just fixated on others shortcomings? Go to a streetcorner and start pointing fingers at every sinner you see. Let me give you a hint. When you see someone, point. Or better yet, and this is much better, go stand in front of a mirror.....

As far as sins go, it isn't a horrible one. It doesn't usually hurt anyone except the 2 people involved, unless they have children.
I try not to be too judgmental of other Christians. Non-Christians seem to have the monopoly on that pretty well covered. I don't know what kind of gratification it gives them, but it certainly seems to be a driving force in the lives of many.
