so im getting not for the science class....pretty good answers so far. another point id like to make is that if u teach "creationism" theres bound to be someone from a different religion with a different creation story that might be affended

spoke too soon i got an anti evolution answer. ugh. also how can u be sure that theres no randomness at all. i mean the earth is old as crap and even if there is a small percentage of chance something will happen if it goes long enough it will actually not be a surprise at all.....

thank you jesus it's a wise and logic christian. IMO you should teach both in small doses so they can chose what they believe. they each have good points and both can be discussed. You have to discuss creationalism as a philosophy not proof because frankly there is no proof or evidence.

I am a Christian but I do not believe creationism should be taught in science classes. Evolution is pretty much fact and anyone who argues against that is delusional. Having said that, I do not think believing in God is delusional. Evolution does not kill God.
You have limited your question to evolution so I will not get into my reasons for believing in God.

Teach Creation in Social Studies, as part of various religions. Nothing is more social than religions.

Basically, you cannot create something out of nothing. Something is there all the time.

If there is something that can create something out from nothing, who or what created that something? It is a complete oxymoron, if you ask me. Hence, creationism should be restricted to religious studies group only.

You cannot teach creationism if you use existing items to create, it would be transformation of matters or energy transferance rather then creationism.

Can I say that the missing link was caused by aliens messing with our evolution?

Who says evolution and intelligent design can't mix?

(Sorry, I realize this isn't exactly your question...)

The facts that point to a high creator:

1. Incredible complexities of nature and creation
2.Evidence of intelligent design in earth and animals
3.Perfections found in creation that could not have been created randomly
4.Logical problems with natrual selection
