Western people are predominantly christians and so must follow the bible. When bible doesn' allow sex before or outside marriage and considers it to be one of the greatest sins then why do most americans indulge in it?Why do they go for abortion, why not just avoid sex or use condoms?

It's quite common everywhere, most just don't admit it. It just seems more common because it isn't hidden in the US. Do you think AIDS is spreading like wildfire in Africa and Asia because everyone is in monogomous relationships?
And merely because the majority of the population in western countries were born Christian doesn't mean they're devout. Many are Christian only by default and aren't religious at all. If one is born Christian he remains Christian unless he renounces it, and most people won't. Lying and Envy are also considered major sins.
Abortion is much much more common in Russia and Asia than in western countries. In China people have been forced to have abortions because they are not allowed to have more than one child. In Russia, it's almost used as a form of birth control it's so prevalent. It just seems more common in the west because they are more willing to argue about it in public and in the press. China and Russia both have censored newspapers.
Avoiding sex is ridiculous because it's unrealistic. 99% (98% of those who swear to avoid sex until marraige) of westerners have sex before they are 28, which is around the average marraige age in the west.
Besides, sex is healthy. The more a male has sex in his lifetime, the less likely he is to have prostate cancer.

The Western world has always believed in the "domino effect". Politically speaking, you have Vietnam (the spread of Communism) and the Middle East (the spread of fanatical Islam).

So, socially speaking, without fornication you could not have adultery or abortion. This is an example of the "domino effect" as believed by fanatical Christians. Sex for pure primal pleasure is considered sinful.

Ironically, however, masturbation is seen in the same light. So, what are we godless Westerners to do?

Well, due to our repressed sexuality and our resentment towards the hypocrisy of the Moral Majority, we act out- we cheat, we screw, and we kill.

Simply put, it is our "fake goodness" that spawns our "real evil".

We live in the world of plenty. We live for the minute without considering consequence. Our religions prefer that we not use condoms, that we not support abortion and that we in turn kill our children and spouse whenever we have a bad day. As for the west vs. any other place, Free will is our biggest luxury. We do not surgically ruin our daughters ability to enjoy sex, we do not arrange marriages to settle a debt and we are able to get out of mistakes such as bad marriages. Sometimes, partners change 180 degrees once the words, " I Do" are said. If you don't like it, follow your principles and code of ethics. Alllow other to do the same. Like the song says, LIVE and LET LIVE.

I don't know about abortion in the REST of western society, but it's a woman's right in American since she has the freedom to do whatever she wants with her body (which doesn't make any sense, since drug abuse and suicide are still illegal....).

As for adultery, I think it must be because it's a taboo that it's so prevalent. The opposite is true in Japan. R@pe isn't illegal over there, and it doesn't have the strange appeal of doing something wrong. Over there, r@pe is more of an inconvenience than a crime or personal violation.

Because the bible has made issues of abortion, fornication and adultery. In poor nations people do not know the meaning of these words, hence ignorance is bliss.

Prevalent compared to where? We have freedoms here that allow us to notice everything done here, in most of the rest of the world, Adultery, fornication and abortion are not topics discussed, even when everyone knows they are happening all the time..

Let me point a few things out:
Africa is the leading nation in the epidemic of AIDS. Is this because the men are so faithful to their wives?
China mandates one child per family. Abortion is legal there for that reason. Aren't they Communists?
Persian, Arabic and Africans still kill girl-children. Isn't this worse than abortion?

Don't hang the "western nations" before you do a litlle world-wide research. Enlighten yourself, Dear One.

the mode of sex is said in Geeta the Lord Krishna himself said that "I am also the kam (Sex) used for producing children's with the method written in ved Shastra's(so many things one is it is done with husband and wife). this is the absolute definition of sex. but human is not the God but our moto should be to be like the God for spiritualism. so at least we should accept that abortion(effect due to illegal sex) is a sin. if it is not a sin then how it is helpful for the person himself who goes for abortion leave the rest of the people. does a person who goes for abortion gets an enjoyment or pleasure.i do not know because i have not read all religious books but i think it will be nowhere written in Bible that "abortion is a very good thing , one should do it for the welfare of running the human and humanity point of view". perhaps it is the perception of human itself that they interpret the things according to their needs ie to justify that they are doing good activities. acceptance is the first step to remove the sin from our inner conscious. we are human being subjected to do these kind of things , but at least we should accept it.

Well I haven't had abortion.
I haven't committed adultery.
I did not commit fornication.

I only had sex 4 times. I only had 3 men, to experiment.... because I don't think I will ever get marry, because I am ugly. I am 36. I haven't
had sex since 1999.... because I dislike sex.

And I am a Christian.

Most of us don't do that.... only the celebrities, actors
you see on tv, and few other stupid people commit sins.

I have no reason to have sex.

1) Western people only pretend to be Christians. Their true god is and always will be money.

2) The Bible is a book of myths, collected and created - by men - around 400 AD for political reasons.

3) Sex is natural and good, Abuse of sex is bad. Sex outside of marriage, if it hurts no one, is not a problem, and people are going to have sex anyway whether a book of myths forbids it or not.

4) The only people who should make decisions about whether or not to have abortions are women, because men cannot have children.
