ok. so they are making veggietales a tv show BUT they have to eliminate all references to god because they think it will offend their viewers??

WHAT HAS THIS WORLD COME TO??

i mean, if its going to offend you, dont watch it. get a life! is it really that terrible?

i mean, people can say the F word on tv but they cant say God without totally FREAKING out?

what are your views on this?

We stopped telling children what jobs they were going to work and what women/men they shall marry a long time ago. WHY then do parent still tell children what religion to believe in. Why do religions have to brainwash children at such a young age, can't you allow them to reach the age of reason first?

Jude verses 14&15 (no chapters to Jude (KJV))
14 And Enoch also , the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these , saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgement upon all that are ungody among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken of him.

If the saints are dead and powerless what are they doing coming back to help the Lord pass judgment? If Catholics don't read the Bible how did i know that?

In another question, someone said, "We are already destined for hell, but it is Jesus love that saves us from this doom."

I think we should remember that it was God who created hell (or, being all powerful and all knowing, allowed it to be created, meaning he is ultimately responsible for the existence of hell). So why would God send Jesus to save us from something he created himself?

Furthermore, why would an all-loving God send us to hell by default? If God really wanted to send us all to heaven, he could do that. He's all powerful. There is absolutely nothing stopping him from sending all people to heaven.

So, where is the logic in this god who is both willing and able to send us to heaven, but chooses not to, simply because of our beliefs? So much for free will. If I were able to send every human to heaven, I would do it at the drop of a hat, and I'm sure you would too. So why won't God do it?

I know this has probably happened a while ago but it just came to my attention. Well for those who don't know Veggie tales is a christian cartoon geared to kids, and it is centered around teaching kids about god and conveying such a message. Well NBC was going to let the show air on it's network, but Veggie tales had to agree to take the god part out. Now if NBC was censoring anything else like gay marriage (which I do support) how different would it be? What if they were censoring anything else. What makes God so taboo and EVERYTHING else ok.

If we will just think for a while, and try to ponder about the suffering of mandkind, those who commit crime againts people are those who believe in God.. regardless of religious belief,,those snatcher, robbers,thief,corrupt politician ,racist,rapist, murderer...these people are those we see prying in there own churches....they are the one who have religiuos book, icon etc. ....why they are doing this...... is it because they believe in God

People so much like to criticize the Bible, without ever having read more than a chapter here and there, and even that with a totally closed mind. Imagine if you actually read Jesus teaching's and applied them to your life; you would realize that the word's of Jesus and the power of the Bible when applied to your life, goes far beyond that of the wisdom of man. If you guys want to just keep being the blind leading the blind, then fine; just don't blame God when you walk into that ditch...

And because I already see it coming, my point is that you ask these questions and do not understand the Bible because you won't allow yourself to. It is not God's word because over 40 different authors collaborated over thousands of years to perpetuate the worlds greatest hoax, but because it shows God's relationship with humanity, and his amazing love for us. It is history people, and more and more lately, science, archaelogy, and history prove it to be more and more reliable.
