I beg to differ.

All I did was ask an honest question. Guess Christians don't have a monopoly on hate

Beg all you like, but I see lots of non-Christians doing wonderful things. Total depravity would mean that on-one is capable of good. Calvanists argue that man is totally depraved -- the "T" in TULIP. I don't see that. I see great benevolence in many people, including Atheists, Pagans, and though I hate to admit it, even Christians and Republicans.

Total depravity would result in a society devoid of goodness. I daresay that the goodness in this world isn't the result of Christians alone; far from it. Fred Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church is a quite vocal element of radical fundamental Christianity, who is spreading more hatred than most of the non-Christians in the world.

Still, some people might argue that what non-Christians view as virtue is actually depravity, but I'd rather have that sort of love and depravity rather than the intolerance and hatred spewed by many Christians.

I am not sure Christians are to believe that men are totally depraved. That answered, I am not Unitarians believe in anything. They seem to wing it.

I'm not depraved. Neither is any person I know.

Are you, or are you just making your judgment based on your observations of others?

Because it is easier for one to lie to themselves than to admit they are depraved, and in need of help from above.

Youre born with nothing but your body and an umbilical cord.

Depravity is a relative concept.
